Let's explore the connection between breath and time and your experience of time as you connect with your breath.

Let's begin by getting grounded,

Centered,

And present into the all expansive now.

Let's do this by focusing on your breath and starting to explore any tension and relaxation in your body.

Sitting at the top of your head,

Bring attention and awareness to any tension in your scalp,

In your forehead,

In your ears,

Noticing that simply placing your attention,

As I mentioned each body part,

Invites relaxation if that is your intention.

Allow your inhale to fill your lungs and your belly and allow any tension to leave on the exhale,

Sliding out like water running down an icicle or an ice cube melting into a hot cup of tea.

Bring your attention back to your face muscles,

Your cheeks,

The many tiny muscles behind your eyes,

Letting everything soften.

And if you haven't done so already,

Allowing your eyes to gently close,

Focusing your attention inward.

Continuing to bring attention to your breath,

Gently inhaling,

Filling your belly,

And allowing the exhale to simply release.

Bringing your attention to your lips,

Your tongue,

Your jaw,

Perhaps parting them a bit to let those muscles of speaking communication relax.

Going to continue gently naming each body part on the way down to your toes as you continue breathing and noticing any time a random thought invites itself in,

Allow it to exit gently on the exhale.

Bringing attention and awareness to your shoulders,

To your arms,

Your hands,

And your fingers,

To your chest,

Your upper back,

Your side body,

Your solar plexus,

Your mid-back,

Your belly,

Your lower back,

Continuing to allow your inhale to fill you with breath and life force,

Releasing any tension on the exhale.

Bringing your attention and awareness to your hips,

Your thighs,

Your calves,

Your feet,

And your toes,

Letting them wiggle to release any excess energy.

And then one final scan,

Noticing any leftover tension.

Now coming back to your center point,

Getting curious as to where your center point of attention is today.

You might find that it's in your mind as thoughts come spinning back in.

Perhaps it's in your heart,

Noticing the expansion that focusing on your breath allows.

Or maybe it's in your belly,

Feeling grounded and rooted into being human today.

Continue breathing at your own pace.

I believe time is reacting to our energy every second,

Minute,

And moment of the day.

I believe we have a relationship with time that expands and contracts based on our energy,

Based on our breath,

The pace,

The depth,

And our focus and attention on the inhale and the exhale.

Our breath brings us into the present moment,

Into our physical body.

Our breath allows us to expand the spaciousness within us.

It brings oxygen to the inner most parts of us that have been laying dormant.

Breath is life force.

It's free,

It's simple,

And most commonly overlooked as the most powerful transformation tool at the tip of our nose.

Our relationship to time,

To receiving,

To presence,

To listening,

To manifesting are all based on our connection with our breath.

Right now,

For the next few moments,

Let's breathe together,

Allowing each breath to expand your energy and letting it expand that subtle and powerful inner perception.

For the next four minutes,

Just be with your breath without trying to change it,

But riding that wave of the inhale,

Allowing it to nourish and expand your inner energy,

And then following it on the exhale.

You don't have to worry about time.

I'm tracking it for you.

When the four minutes have come to a close,

I will gently call you back to present awareness.

Now breathe.

And 10 more breaths.

You you you you you you you is it slow?

Do I feel connected to time?

Is it going faster than I perceive?

Or does it seem to have expanded exponentially?

And remember that you have the power to set your inner pace your inner clock and your subtle perception of passing through time blessings on the rest of your day may your breath be blessed with magic you
