Hello and welcome.

This is Nadine at Elements Rising.

I'm going to guide you through a short experience of calling on the elements and seven directions.

East,

South,

West,

North,

Above,

Below,

And Center.

If you would take the first two minutes of this recording to listen to the directions,

Then pause,

Find a compass,

Locate the direction of the East as our starting point,

And then resume the meditation.

You will be prepared to call upon the directions and have an intention to use this experience,

Possibly to call in a sacred circle in which you're working in.

You could be calling in a sacred time for work that you're going to do,

Maybe creating a project,

Cooking,

Bringing a party forth,

Decorating,

Entering a new home.

You may think of this as creating a sacred space and a circle of protection around you and the space that you're working or living in or holding for others so that the time that you share may be a time of healing,

A time guided by good intentions that you've infused your highest energy into,

And a time that is sacred.

And that's really what this is about,

Is developing your own personal rituals and intentions to live a more sacred life.

You can infuse this meditation with physical actions such as lighting a candle,

Ringing a bell,

Pouring water,

Blessing yourself,

Making an offering to the earth.

You can use this meditation when we look to above and below to recognize the feminine in your life that have inspired you or a part of your ancestral lineage.

And above,

I often think about the men or masculine in my life who have inspired me,

My teachers,

My guides,

And of course my ancestors.

But this is essentially your sacred time and your sacred practice.

So please take the liberty to customize the following meditation and use this in a way that feels sacred and special to you and honors the spaces,

The times,

And the people that you're holding space for.

Let us begin.

Calling on the elements and the seven directions.

Turn your attention to the direction of the east and the rising sun.

I call upon the element of air.

May every breath be sacred.

May I be connected to truth.

Taking one quarter turn,

I bring my attention to the direction of the south,

Calling upon the element of fire and the flames of inspiration.

May inspiration and creativity flow through my blood.

May I be awakened and move through life,

Manifesting and living more creatively.

I take a quarter turn facing the direction of the west and the element of water,

The land of the setting sun.

I call upon water to flow through me,

Reminding me to in fact go with the flow,

The ebbs and the tides of life.

I honor the sacred waters,

The streams,

The rivers,

The ponds and the lakes.

I honor the blood in my veins.

And I take a quarter turn to face the north,

The land of the ancients and the element of earth.

May I protect this ground that I live upon.

May I honor the plants,

The trees and the sacred stories and legends of my ancestors.

I take a quarter turn,

Finding my circle complete.

I look to the heavens above and I call upon with open arms,

The great divine energy in the heavens,

The essence of the divine masculine,

The fathers.

I call down upon me their radiant protective light filled with love,

Surround me,

Protect me.

I bow and touch the earth beneath me as I turn my attention below and connect with the divine feminine and the mother's energy.

Anchoring my sacred cord to the core of the earth,

She holds me.

And as I call upon her grace and her wisdom,

I ask her to direct me on a path that serves.

Bringing my attention and the energy from these six directions to my center.

I call upon the great spirit to guide my soul's purpose and allow me to be able to hear my deep intention for my life,

The inner knowing and the guidance and purpose in which I am to live and work through for the highest and greatest good of all.

I direct that this circle surrounding me in all directions be protected to only serve the highest good,

To be a place of healing and a space for the highest intentions.

May only what is safe and healthy and for my greatest good and the healing and good of others come to this circle.

And so it is.

May you each be blessed.
