Look at your own state of mind now.

Without looking at anybody else,

Look at your own mind.

How is it?

Are you talking to yourself?

Not yet no?

But you know you are going to start in some time.

This state of not talking to yourself is the pure state of mind.

The authentic state of mind.

Every time I move away from this pure state of mind,

I become dirty.

And my mind gets scattered and caught up in raga and dvesha.

Or jealousy,

Anger,

Love,

Hatred,

Passion,

Want this,

Don't want this,

Should be,

Shouldn't be.

What is all this?

Empty charter of the mind.

And I get stuck in this.

Are you seeing this?

Has your mind started talking yet?

How long can you maintain this?

Take it up as a challenge.

You usually compete with other people in the world.

Compete with yourself.

Can I be better now than I was in the past one hour?

Can I be better now than I was in the past two hours?

Is your mind pure now?

Promise yourself not to start this unnecessary talking to your own self.

Do you understand talking to your own self?

She said this,

Then this happened,

Then I did this,

Then she,

It's all over.

Unnecessary,

I am going on and on and on about it.

I know what you are saying.

In the olden days you used to have that gramophone recording,

You had to get stuck somewhere.

Like that you get stuck on some particular thought and you keep thinking.

She said this to me,

She said this to me,

She said this to me,

She said this to me,

She said this to me,

She said this to me,

She said this to me,

Goes on and on.

Doesn't this happen?

This is called talking to your own self.

And if you think this is normal,

You are wrong.

Yes?

Talking to your own self is a disease of the mind.

So you self-introspect and see,

Do I have this disease?

Then you are a patient and you need some treatment.

It is not normal to keep talking to yourself in the mind.

You have to drop this.

You are encouraging your own self.

Be pure.

Like now.

Carry this state through the rest of the day and then see that if it goes away because of something that happened in the environment,

Some person said something,

Some situation happened,

Doesn't matter.

Then I sit and do kriya or I meditate,

Somehow I withdraw from the five senses,

I go within and then calm the mind down.

Stop this inner chitter chatter.

I did not do kriya with you right now.

But this is not working.

It is completely shut off.

There is silence.

Can you do that?

Can you promise this to yourself?

Whether I am in activity,

Whether I am at work,

Whether I am with family,

This will be shut off.

Not mine,

Yours.

Yes?

Take this up as a commitment to yourself for this week.

Every time this is going to start,

Chit chat,

Chit chat,

Again I calm it down.

Again it is going to start,

Again I calm it down.

You train your own kids right?

Everybody here.

You have trained one kid at least in your life.

This is also a little kid.

I have to just train this.

Become the mother of your own mind.

So Darshan will help,

Sudarshan Kriya will help,

Gurudev's knowledge will help.

Are you reading knowledge sheets?

Everyday one little piece of knowledge.

It is on Facebook,

It is on Twitter,

It is everywhere.

Yes?

Little bit of knowledge everyday.

Yes?

So we will take a five minute break now and the others we will all settle down for.

Thank you.
