Let's do a self-exploration meditation on I Am That,
Chapter 21.
It's not personal.
Let's close our eyes and sit comfortably.
Let's get ready to meditate.
Witness the person getting ready to meditate.
Witness the person sitting comfortably.
Witness the person closing the eyes in order to meditate.
Witness that there is a clear distance between you and the person.
Witness that there is a clear distance between the sense of I Am and the idea related to the projected person,
I Am This.
The sense of I Am is real.
The idea,
I Am This,
Is illusory.
Witness the distance between I Am and I Am This.
You will notice the natural shuttling that happens between I Am and I Am This.
Simply witness the distance between the reality and the illusion.
Simply witness the distance between I Am and I Am This.
The sense of I Am is impersonal,
Asanga,
Naturally detached.
The illusory idea,
I Am This,
Is exact opposite.
I Am This appears to be personal.
I Am This appears to be easily grasped.
But in reality,
I Am This keeps disappearing and reappearing,
Like a mirage.
Witness the distance between the illusory idea of the personal and the reality of the impersonal.
I Am is fundamental.
I Am This is relative.
I Am is the truth.
I Am This is a fake pretense.
I Am is virtue.
I Am This is sin.
I Am is the impersonal self.
I Am This is the personal non-self.
I Am This is the person.
Witness the emptiness of the person.
I Am is the self.
Witness the completeness of the self.
Witness how the person is afraid of self-inquiry.
Witness the fearlessness of the self.
Witness how the person constantly seeks validation and reassurance.
Witness the confident dispassion of the self.
Witness how the person constantly lusts,
Expects,
And demands.
Witness the desireless clarity of the self.
Witness the falsity of the person.
Witness the authenticity of the self.
Recognize that I Am is certain.
I Am This is not.
Hold on to the I Am.
Vehemently reject I Am This.
Recognize that the sense of I Am is God itself.
I Am This is the seeker of God.
Let the search culminate.
Hold on to I Am.
Give your heart and mind to it.
Let it become your natural state.
Give up all questions except Who Am I?
Think of nothing else but Who Am I?
At the level of the absolutes,
There are no persons.
Who Am I?
Quit the performance of the person.
Quit the stage.
Who Am I?
To think of oneself as the personal is the sin of the impersonal.
Who Am I?
The experiencer itself is the experience.
Who Am I?
Love itself is both the lover and the beloved.
Who Am I?
Give up all questions except one.
Who Am I?
Who Am I?
Who Am I?
