5 Aspects Of Creation
by Ekta Bathija
In this track, Ektaji explains the five aspects of creation and us, as follows: Asti - that aspect of energy which gives its existence. Bhati - that aspect of matter which has an expression. For example, a door has a purpose and an expression. Preeti - the natural pure love, the attraction we all have, as the essence of us all is the same. Naama and Rupa - everything which has material existence, has a name and form. We all need to go beyond Naama and Rupa and recognize our basic aspect, which is Preeti.

There are five aspects to this creation,
Five aspects to you,
Five aspects to everything and everyone here.
What are those five aspects?
Right here.
What are they?
What do you understand?
Nothing.
This entire creation,
Everything is a combination of matter and spirit.
You understand spirit,
Energy?
This marker is matter but is it only matter?
There is energy.
You learnt physics right in school,
Potential energy,
Kinetic energy,
Little bit coming back.
Yeah?
So everything in this creation,
Yeah,
Every little object in this creation,
Every ant,
Every insect,
Butterfly,
Plant,
Animal,
Human being.
Everything is a combination of both matter and energy.
This is clear?
This basis we all understand,
Physics,
Basic physics.
Now even this matter is divided into different aspects,
Even this energy is divided into different aspects.
That is what is asti bhati priti naam arupa.
We understand matter so let's begin with matter.
Matter has a name.
Every little matter around us we have given a name.
This is a television,
This is a human being,
This is a tape recorder,
This is a marker.
Names and the moment a name is uttered,
A form comes to mind.
I say monkey.
Did you get the form?
Yeah?
The name has the form in it.
The form does not have the name in it.
This form could be named Ekta,
This form could be named Deepa,
This form could be named anything,
Monkey,
Right?
The name has the form in it.
The form does not have the name in it.
Are you getting it?
The name is name,
Rupa is form.
These are the two aspects of matter.
So what are these three aspects for?
The energy that is running this matter.
Every matter doesn't matter what it is.
Even if it is that sofa,
It has energy,
Potential energy.
So every matter has different variation,
Proportion,
Degrees of energy.
That energy has these three aspects.
Asthi,
Bhati and priti.
Asthi means it is.
Literally asthi means it is.
Means it is that which is running the matter.
After eighty,
Ninety,
Hundred years this matter is going to drop.
What was running this matter till eighty,
Ninety,
Hundred years?
Whatever luck you get,
Hundred and ten years.
What was running?
That energy,
The isness of the energy.
Asthi is that aspect which gives that matter its existence.
Asthi.
That aspect of energy which gives isness.
It is.
What is bhati?
Every matter has a particular expression.
Every matter has a particular use.
A sofa is used to sit on.
A door is used to open and close.
You cannot sit on the door.
And you can't use the sofa in place of the door.
Are you getting what I am saying?
This piece of blood bones and flesh,
This matter also has a purpose,
An expression.
A human has a different purpose compared to an animal,
Compared to a plant.
These different expressions are called bhati.
Got it?
Preeti,
What is preeti?
Everybody knows the word.
What is preeti?
Love.
Everything is made of love.
How?
Ok,
I understand.
You know,
In human,
Animal,
Prove me this marker loves me.
Tell me how.
You are one of them.
I am one of them.
Where is the love in the matter,
In objects?
It is satisfying the need.
Ok,
Very beautiful.
And there is a deeper aspect to that.
We are all love.
You have heard this from all saints,
All scriptures.
But how?
What is love?
Is love just that which I have for my husband,
Wife,
My child,
My mother and father and I don't love my neighbour?
It's not the superficial emotion that we experience.
That is not love.
Ya,
Understand,
Love has a deeper meaning.
Let's go to the beginning of this creation,
Even before the big bang.
What was there?
Was Nama and Rupa there?
What was there?
Just energy.
Just energy.
So just the asti part of it.
Ya,
Bhati did not exist.
It is nothingness.
A big ball of energy.
Now what happened to this big ball of energy?
Those who watch cosmos and all that,
What happened?
It exploded within itself.
Ya,
Matter and spirit came out.
Energy,
If that's an easier word for you to understand.
Matter and energy.
Ya,
Obviously every matter is endowed with energy.
It's not energy separate and matter is separate.
Only for understanding purposes,
We call them out separately.
So matter and energy came out of this nothingness.
Now if you break a magnet into a million pieces,
What will happen?
It is still the same.
It still has that penalty.
Beautiful and they'll all still be attracted to each other because they are one.
It is one.
By you breaking it,
You cannot take away the magnetic property.
Correct?
Exactly like that.
That magnetic property of this consciousness,
This energy which was one before the big bang.
Ya,
Is always maintained.
Even if you break it into matter and energy or matter and spirit,
Still they are all attracted.
You see this?
That basic underlying principle is priti.
Have you noticed you like everybody really?
There is nobody you can really hate.
The hatred comes from the interaction till there is no interaction,
I don't have hatred.
So hatred is a product of expression.
Till the expression doesn't happen,
There is no hatred.
It's got to do with emotions and all mind and all the big bhiakya that your mind can get into.
Till that time there is,
This drama does not exist.
Right?
Recognize at the basic level,
We are all just different different parts of that same magnet.
That is why we have this underlying,
You know,
One realm of peace that we all exist in.
Ya?
If I call it love,
Then you start thinking love of husband,
Wife.
That is why Buddha called it stillness.
Buddha called it peace.
Because we have really,
You know,
Misconstrued the word love and made it like I just love these few people in my life.
That is why he called it peace.
He called it stillness.
That is what is priti.
Got it?
So we have all these five.
Asthe,
Bhati,
Priti,
Namarupa.
Ya?
You are all of them.
Don't get stuck to this rupa.
This rupa is going to fall in 8,
10,
20,
40,
50 years.
You have no idea.
Maybe tomorrow morning you have a guarantee.
Anybody?
Maybe you have a tattoo somewhere with the date.
Check.
No,
No.
Recognize this aspect.
Yes,
I am beyond this rupa and the name of this rupa.
There is something within me which is magnetic,
Which is that asthe.
And become established in that asthe.
And the nature,
The basic nature of that asthe is priti,
Is love.
Today,
Let's just practice all day just being in that asthe,
Not jumping into the vyakya that comes out of the expression of some other rupa.
This namarupa comes my way,
Says a few words.
All my peace is gone.
This was just an expression and this expression created some turbulence in my mind.
And I lost my balance.
I am out of my priti.
Let me again and again make an effort to be established in this priti today.
Can we do that?
Homework?
Everybody?
Everybody,
Huh?
I don't see everybody.
Like this?
Okay.
Since that we can ignore the external,
The turbulence created by external sources.
But what if a turbulence is created by internal sources?
Internal sources also got to do with something he or she said in the past.
I have stored it like garbage.
And then I only remove that garbage and start eating it.
Have you noticed?
We do this.
He said something ten days ago.
She said something yesterday.
I am the one who picks it up and chews on it again and again and again and again.
And I become my own dukha.
He is already enjoying his Sunday morning sleep somewhere.
But I am thinking about him and he is taking my peace away.
So I have to learn to let go of that also.
Any other questions?
Simple,
No?
Just be established in this priti.
It's so simple.
It's more of an effort to get out of this priti and fight with somebody.
It's easier to be just established in it.
Nobody can take my peace away.
I am not selling my smile for peanuts.
That's called being established in it.
My peace is more important than your words,
Than what you did and what you said and the way you behaved.
It doesn't matter.
Sometimes even situations can be bad.
It doesn't matter.
They cannot take my smile away.
Oh I don't like winter.
I don't like winter.
I don't like winter.
Winter is coming.
I don't like winter.
What's the point?
By you cribbing and crying,
Is winter going to go away?
There can be winter in your financial life.
There can be winter in your career.
There can be winter in your family life at home.
It's okay.
You see what I am saying?
Instead of cribbing,
Cribbing,
Cribbing,
Be with it.
Winter passes.
You know that.
Every time winter comes you crib about it.
Every time winter passes.
Again,
Spring comes and you are happy.
But still you repeat the same thing.
When winter is about to begin,
You start cribbing.
Recognize this tendency of the mind.
Just this recognition will help you drop.
Just recognition is enough.
Oh,
Unnecessary,
I am thinking about what he said and she said.
Just drop.
Good.
Now we will be established in Preethi today.
So this that you feel in Kriya,
This calmness,
This quietness is that aspect of Preethi which was somewhere hidden deep within,
Has come up.
And that's why you experience this peace.
The moment you go out,
Step into your car,
Start talking to your friend,
Pick up that phone and start and all the peace is gone.
Maintain it.
Even if I am doing an action,
That action should be at the periphery.
At the center I am established.
Can we do that?
Unless you practice it's not possible.
By listening to these words it's not going to happen.
By applying the words and making it a practice it's going to happen.
So ready to practice today?
