Hello,
Welcome to your guided meditation on grounding.
My name is Erica Jones.
Please take a seat.
Bring your palms to knees and take any small movements that you need in order to sell it all in and get grounded.
Bring your shoulders up to your ears and hug your ears tightly with your shoulders.
Take a deep inhale and take a long exhale.
Draw your shoulders away from your ears and release the tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Bring awareness to your breath,
The natural rhythm of your breath,
Your inhales and exhales.
Now imagine you're sitting on a bench in a park,
Your sit bones grounded onto the bench,
Sun shining on your face,
And grasp below your feet and take a deep inhale and an exhale.
On your next inhale,
You feel a cool breeze.
Feel the breeze pass along your skin and let yourself be where you are without getting caught up in the breeze.
Let yourself be grounded on the bench without anticipating the next one that comes by,
Fully surrendering to the uncertainty of which way the breeze blows.
Allow the sensation and feelings of the breeze.
Brush across your skin and notice.
Notice you sitting on the bench grounded,
Feeling the breeze pass by and bringing awareness to the feeling of what it feels like to feel and be alive.
Feel yourself settle and get grounded in this moment.
Relax beneath your feet,
Seat on the bench,
The cool breeze swirling around you and consider in the midst of the breeze and the uncertainty of where it blows,
In the middle of it all,
You're grounded.
Rooted down,
Observing,
Feeling and letting it go by.
Take a deep inhale,
Exhale,
Sending breath all the way through your body down to your toes.
Inhale,
Fill up from your toes all the way to the crown of your head.
And one long exhale,
Send the breath all the way down to your toes.
Bringing your hands to heart center and press your thumbs into your heart and feel your heart beating.
In the circle of life,
You surrender to the uncertainty,
Remain grounded.
All is calm.
You are peace.
You are grounded.
Namaste.
