Don't buy me flowers,
Buy me seeds,
Show me your commitment to growing something beautiful This is a quote by Ryan Farmer.
I read it while I was walking outside Old Foods and I was sleeping in the kombucha where I found this quote and that made me reflect on the idea of relationships.
Whether it's a romantic one,
A friendship,
One between teachers and students,
Between co-workers or whatsoever,
We'd better have the right soil,
Good seeds,
Enough water,
Patience and nutrients for it.
We cannot expect to have beautiful flowers,
Tasty fruit or vegetables if we don't put some or maybe more than some effort in it.
As Rome wasn't built in the day,
Relationships need that consistency,
Commitment and it can't be unless we really care for them and we are so resilient even when we're tired.
It is not a one-way thing,
It's called relationship and it involves at least two people who supposedly have the same target who want to work together for that.
Today we're gonna visualize the relationships we deserve to have.
I'm gonna take five breaths together.
Let's close our eyes if that's okay for us or at least soften them so that we won't be distracted by the light or other things happening around us.
Let's breathe.
So so let's continue breathing and let's place one hand over our belly and one hand over our heart.
Let the breathing guide your body and let's relax more and more.
We're taking some time now to reach a complete relaxation.
If thoughts come your way,
Don't fight them but just let them be.
They come and go like waves in the ocean.
The breath is your anchor and your anchor is your breath.
It is such a powerful statement because it is something that we can always turn to.
It is there in the good and in the bad.
Now that we are more and more relaxed,
Let's visualize a person in our life.
You can choose anybody.
There's no right or wrong.
Now think about something good that this person may have done for you or something good about his or her personality.
We're gonna breathe and breathe.
Let's imagine that person right in front of you.
Now you have the opportunity to express gratitude to him or her.
We're gonna take a couple of minutes and during this time you will have the possibility to express this gratitude to that person right in front of you.
Developing gratitude gives us the chance to welcome more good in our lives,
To call for good things,
Great vibes coming our way.
It gives us a chance to set ourselves to a place filled with love,
Compassion,
Again gratitude,
Tenderness and sweetness.
I'll let you talk with this person for a couple of minutes and I'll be right back.
You you you you you you I am back.
I am back.
Now slowly you can let that person go.
Maybe you can give him or her an imaginary hug and then finally let him or her go,
But for now now that we have opened our heart to more sweetness delicacy and tenderness we can work on visualizing the relationships that we totally deserve.
Let your body relax more and more,
Let your heart be full of hope,
Keep breathing and in the meantime I'm gonna do some Reiki visualization,
Throwing,
Imagining some of the Reiki symbols so that you'll be able to welcome step by step,
Day by day,
The relationships that you will deserve.
You don't have to do anything,
Just breathe,
Let your body relax,
Let your heart be open.
We will have some means of silence and you will feel the energy of the Reiki,
Feeling your heart,
Is the energy of the universe flowing to your heart,
Inside your body,
Offering peace,
Warmth,
Joy,
Rejuvenating your body,
Your chakras and giving you balance and peace.
Keep breathing.
So so so so so so so so so the universe has your back,
You deserve the best,
You've been visualizing good things coming your way,
Preparing yourself for all the amazing stuff and relationships with just just around the corner,
Waiting for you.
I'm gonna keep breathing for a few more minutes,
I'm gonna count for you,
I'm gonna count for you,
Let's breathe through the lows if it's possible,
We're gonna do a series of five breaths in total,
We're gonna inhale for five,
Hold for five and then exhale for six.
Let's start.
Inhale two three four five,
Hold two three four five,
Exhale two three four five six.
Inhale two three four five,
Hold two three four five,
Exhale two three four five.
Inhale two three four five,
Hold two three four five,
Exhale two three four five,
Inhale two three four five,
Hold two three four five,
Exhale two three four five,
Inhale two three four five,
Hold two three four five,
Hold two three four five,
Exhale two three four five.
Now go back to a normal breathing.
We're gonna breathe together,
Now we're gonna inhale through your nose,
Exhale through your mouths.
Let's do it.
Ah ah I'm gonna let you with a final quote from a book by Jane Austen,
Sense and Sensibility.
It is not time or opportunity that is to determine intimacy,
It is disposition alone.
Seven years would be insufficient to make some people acquainted with each other and seven days are more than enough for others.
Thank you so much for being part of this meditation.
Namaste.
You
