Discover what makes you unique, live it in your life, and share it to sustain the world. Inspired by Joseph's title as Vizier of Egypt (Genesis 41:45), Zophenat Paneach, which variously means "revealer of hidden things"; “God speaks; he lives”; or “the creator/sustainer of life.”

Let's begin with a deep and reaffirming breath that we are blessed to exist.

Come into this very moment of existing,

Whatever that means to you.

Whatever gifts or gratitude you might experience just for being here one more day.

Getting to see,

Hear,

Taste,

And touch even more.

Notice your body in which you exist,

The vessel for your experience and awareness,

Yet inseparable from it.

Notice what quiet is,

Never in fact silent,

Always interrupted by beautiful and small noises,

Birds and doors and creaks.

Listen,

Even to sounds inside your body like your pulse or digestion.

Feel the gentle release into gravity and the stillness of your body,

Fidgeting if you need to,

And then relaxing.

Enjoying the stillness and the weight of the thing connected to the earth,

Your beautiful self,

Always returning every time you're distracted.

You will be distracted because your mind and brain are working.

You can be grateful for that and come back,

Letting it all unspool.

Maybe you could increase the volume of your breath,

Deeper in,

Longer out,

Taking in more air to feed and nourish your body,

Going deeper,

Becoming less.

As you draw inward and become smaller yet deeper,

Imagine the core of self and spirit.

Where is the center of gravity within you where spirit resides most profoundly?

It might feel like a weight or a lightness,

Or you may experience it as brightness and wonder.

Draw in that secret fastness in your heart.

Do you hear anything there?

A word,

A sound,

A message,

A space eager to be revealed,

A wisdom that comes to the surface when you look inward?

You may receive an intimation,

A suggestion,

A feeling,

Or a message as you look inward and draw your mind into your spirit.

What could you learn?

What is concealed in you that could be revealed or the light of the many?

Breathe into that,

Cultivate it,

Open it up.

Open it up.

Feel that wisdom and mystery expanding outward,

Slowly and steadily filling your body and your experience and existence.

Might you live into what is revealed within you,

Carrying it outward and forward?

Breathe into it,

Let it grow and expand in your consciousness.

When you get distracted,

As we all do by virtue of being alive and having neurons,

That's great.

Maybe you want to come back and return to me and your experience of meditating.

When you're ready,

Come back.

Come back to the process of revealing and living into your greatest cause,

Filling up,

Breathing,

Settling into stillness,

Listening to the varied quiet around you,

Feeling your own intensity and specialness.

What you learn that is revealed,

What you live into,

You can give,

Sharing it out in the world to sustain the world,

That mercy and gift and grace.

As you breathe your spirit from the deep core into your whole body and existence,

Also send it out to sustain life,

To let it grow in connection,

Sustaining,

Revealing,

Living,

And sustaining.

Reveal,

Live,

And sustain.

Always growing in awareness,

Always deepening.

Breathing.

We'll conclude with three breaths.

And with each breath,

I'd like you to think of the word first,

Reveal,

Then live,

And then sustain.

Breathing out.

And then a breath for reveal.

Now live and sustain.

Return when you're ready.
