
Emotional Alchemy
This meditation will help you to take the overwhelm of your emotions and be able to manage them a little easier during this time. I hope that this tool will be helpful for you as we move through a tumultuous time of change on this Earth. If you feel that this triggers you, please seek help from a professional.

Welcome to this meditation today.
I wanted to create this for anyone that is struggling right now with processing emotions and just dealing with a lot of overwhelm with your emotional state.
This time of Great Awakening is bringing lots of information from all areas,
All sides to our awareness.
We are bombarded with stuff every day and so I invite you firstly to think about what you are consuming through the mind that is causing this state of unrest or I invite you to do a scan through your life just to see what is causing some of this emotional unrest and if it's just the state of the world which is enough then I hope this tool will provide some clarity,
Some calm and just a little bit of solace for you and I hope to give you a tool to be able to draw upon when you are feeling that it's all a bit much again.
We are certainly in a time of dramatic change and along with that there are lots of micro changes,
Lots of micro and major crumblings and what I hope to provide in this tool is for you to be able to feel a state of calm even if things get worse which I'm not saying they are,
Just to provide a state of calm to come back to within yourself so that whatever comes your way you know how to deal with this just a little bit better.
So I want you to start by sitting up into a chair and just calming your body,
Let's just focus head to toe moving through your spirit body,
Your emotional body,
Your physical body and just doing a scan throughout all of these bodies and just sending breath into these spaces to allow it to just fall away just a little bit even if it's just a little bit.
And now I want you to focus more on the breath so now we're going to breathe in through the nose very gently for four and we're going to breathe out through the nose very gently for four and we're going to do this a few times so this helps really settle the nervous system and brings you to a more peaceful,
Balanced,
Calm state of neutrality.
So let's breathe in for four through the nose gently and breathe out for four,
Breathing in and out,
In and out and just returning to a natural calm breath in and out through the nose almost like you are not breathing at all.
So what we're doing here is we're just slowing everything down,
We're not used to being this slow,
We're used to rushing from here to there and as I'm talking whenever I'm talking please just focus on slowing the breath right down.
So this is a state that should be more common like brushing our teeth,
Just coming back to the breath such a simple and free tool that we can use to just stop for a minute,
Take a breath,
Gather our thoughts,
Gather our emotions,
Gather our nervous systems and just so slowing down.
As I am speaking now I want to invite you to look into all the places that you are taking in information.
Is it through a circle of people,
Is it through media outlets however that may be presented?
What are the types of information that are receiving mostly through your mind right now?
I'm just doing a quick scan here and just seeing and noticing if there's anything of this that you have noticed that may be contributing to your emotional overwhelm.
Maybe it's to stop having certain conversations,
Maybe it's to stop watching certain things.
During this time is a beautiful invitation for us to know the self more whole,
Coming back to who we truly are.
The unconscious world is asking us to pay attention to so much right now that is really contributing to our emotional illness which then contributes to our mental illness and stress.
So whatever's popped up for you noticing where you can pull back a little bit to just manage this a little bit better.
We are being called to make the changes that are necessary to master the self right now and our emotional overwhelm has so much to do with what we take in through our mind,
What we believe,
And also what we are not taking action on that our soul wishes to express.
What joys and passions and hobbies do you have that you have left as a non-priority?
I can assure you that these are just as important as any other practice.
Finding what lights you up and if you don't know what that is,
If you feel so removed from that right now go on a fun adventure and exploration of what that could be.
Start taking classes,
Start watching things that light you up or excite you or create intrigue and mystery,
It could be anything.
So inviting this in,
This possibility of altering what comes through our mind and I promise you will see some changes in your emotional well-being.
And I invite you also to take a journal or a note in your phone and notice how you're feeling today and if you keep up this practice either listening to this again or through your own method really start to notice your progress that is a good marker for how something is working for you.
So now we've focused on the mind a little bit I want to focus on our emotions our emotions are such a beautiful tool,
They're a communication to us from the spirit,
From our spiritual body we are being sent messages and they land in the body as emotions.
What is trying to be communicated through you and I invite you to draw attention to your solar plexus which is the tummy area and just notice what feelings may come up for you maybe it's sadness,
Frustration,
Anger,
Stress,
Anxiety,
What is it for you?
And I want to practice this with you,
This is one of the most important things that we can practice when trying to alchemize our emotions is not judging what it is that's there.
These are simply tools of communication,
These are signs telling us to look into something a little bit deeper.
So taking a notice now into what this state is that has come up for you in the last couple of moments and just allowing it to sit there.
So we're not judging whatever the feeling is we're just allowing it to just sit there,
No judgment,
There's no thoughts about it,
There's no beliefs about it,
It's just there.
And so for some of you that may even take the charge of this emotion sometimes that's all it takes.
But let's go a little bit deeper and I want to say if anyone feels very charged and triggered through this please reach out to someone for some extra help,
A professional to help you manage this.
So allowing this emotion to be here and what we want to do is form a bond,
Form a light bond with this emotion.
So this is a being,
It is a being that is living inside you,
It is something that has manifested,
It is energy that is being,
So it is a being.
So we're forming a communication with this being and what we want to do is to get to know this being.
So I invite you now to tune into your body and this being and just let's just thank it for being there.
Maybe you don't feel this fully but let's just thank it.
Even if that's hard to do let's just one tiny bit of thanks for being here for helping us trying to see something,
Trying to let go of something.
And next I want you to ask this emotional being what message it may have to share with you.
So asking this question now to this emotion,
This emotional being what is it that you are trying to communicate to me?
And some of you may get an answer straight away and when we are talking about answers this could come in the form of a thought,
It could come in the form of an impression,
You could hear a word,
You could see a vision,
You could just know something you don't know how you know it but you know it.
Maybe you see a color,
A spiritual guide,
Whatever the message is just take a few moments here in silence to try and understand what it is trying to tell you.
Your body is so so intelligent,
We have these communication systems within our body that we do not know how to use and so this is part of what I'm trying to bring through for you today is a little bit more education about what emotions are and how they can be a powerful tool for our journey and our growth.
Some of you may feel that you've had a big release and if you feel emotions coming up please let them go,
Write in a journal after this,
Let it go in tears,
Feel what you need to feel,
Let's not shame it,
It's just a messenger.
Sometimes the emotion that comes through is relief.
Emotions are not bad,
The negative ones they are simply telling you that something is not in alignment and again this is nothing to judge.
We all are on this journey of learning and growing together so there is nothing to judge.
The person you look up to the most in your life,
Whether you know them or not,
They are also dealing with these things every day.
It could be on a micro or a macro level but we are all human,
We all experience this emotion together.
No one is exempt from this experience and so please know that.
And if you need to reach out to somebody for help there is no shame in that,
Please get the assistance that you feel that you to support you on your journey.
Seek a professional who works holistically as well,
Blending two together.
Someone that can see things from all angles,
That understands emotions,
Understands all the bodies that we have to integrate in this human experience.
And so maybe you have a little bit of clarity about what this emotion,
This being has wanted to say to you.
Maybe you knew it all along but you have not listened and we all do this.
And the last thing I want to invite you to do is just to let yourself off the hook,
Let yourself be imperfect,
Let yourself just embrace the messiness of being a human.
We are all in this human experience together and so the more we embrace it fully,
The more we can alchemize more effectively,
When we resist and we push away this is when we experience the most overwhelm.
Whatever we resist persists and so embracing all of your emotions and everything you experience as something that we can learn from,
Something that we can grow from.
Maybe it's not necessarily a positive experience but there has to be a learning in here for you.
So I invite you to just query this and have a think about what it is maybe you are to learn in this moment.
And I want to invite you to just send a tiny amount of love to yourself.
If you feel like this is a hard thing to do then send just a tiny amount whatever you feel you can do and allow me to send you the rest.
From my heart to yours I want to send you the most love.
I want to send you enough so that you can see it within yourself and you can borrow my belief about you until you can do it for yourself fully.
What you see in me or what you see in others that you admire is also within you.
So I honor you and I hold you in my heart for healing and alchemizing your emotions and your messy human experience fully.
I do this with you,
We do it together,
We are all teachers and we are all students.
So just taking a couple of breaths now,
Some deep ones,
Just some sighs if you need to do that.
And just coming back to your body,
Feeling your body in the chair,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
Giving your body a stretch if you need to do that.
And when you feel ready,
Only when you feel ready open your eyes and again I invite you to open your journal and to just write about your experience.
This is a very safe place for you to process and alchemize and let things go without judgment.
Only you has to see it.
