Use the 4-7-8 breathwork technique to release yourself of anything that is no longer serving you. Set positive intensions by releasing yourself of stored negative energy and emotions. Let the breath guide you!

Hello and thank you for joining me today.

Take a moment to get grounded in whatever space you are in.

Making sure that you are nice and relaxed and that any immediate tension fades away.

Draw your shoulders down away from your ears and maybe part your jaw slightly so there is no tension in your facial area.

Take some time now to feel in to where that breath is travelling around your body.

How are you feeling in this moment?

Really tune in to what your body is trying to tell you.

Without judgement,

Just accepting and acknowledging and then let those feelings melt away.

And turn your attention to your breath solely now.

Where is that breath moving around?

Where can you feel it travelling around and out of your body?

Just feel comfortable breathing in a way that you desire in this moment in time.

And now send that breath down to your lower belly and imagine with each inhale that air filling up that entire area,

Expanding that stomach up,

Out and round.

Let's slow the breath down here.

Now today we are going to move through a technique called the 4-7-8 technique.

We are going to use this today to release ourselves from any stress,

Any triggers.

Move forward with a positive mindset.

For this technique we are going to be inhaling through the nose for a count of 4,

Holding for a count of 7 and releasing through our mouths to a count of 8.

So let's work through a couple of rounds together.

So let's go in through our nose 2,

7 and out through our mouth 2,

Good,

In through your nose 2,

Continuing with that now in own rate and rhythm,

Remembering we are breathing in through our nose to a count of 4,

Holding for a count of 7 and releasing through our mouth to a count of 8.

And as you do so,

I want you to concentrate on the following.

We are letting go of the negative thinking and energies that hold you back.

This breath is going to allow you to move forward,

To realise your true potential.

It can seem tricky to shift your positive mindset when so many of us are stuck with those negative thoughts,

But by working through using your breath in this way,

We really can release energy,

Emotion and work through triggers within ourselves.

So as you're moving through that breath,

I'd like you to think about these affirmations and try to repeat them in your mind.

I exhale all my worries and release them from my thoughts.

I am free from my negative thoughts.

I release everything in my life that is a trigger to me.

I choose to release everything that keeps me away from positivity.

Letting go of negative thinking brings harmony and peace.

I let go of negative memories because the past does not determine my future.

Good.

Continuing with that breath now.

In for four,

Holding for seven and releasing for eight.

Connecting with your breath is the way back home to yourself,

To your mind,

Your body,

Your soul.

It's the starting point to any healing.

It's the original tool within our box.

It's free and you can access it at any time.

When you free your body from trauma and past negative experiences,

You are able to listen in more easily to your intuition and to your gut.

By ridding yourself of any past negative energy,

You are giving yourself permission to be open to higher vibrational feelings such as love,

Joy and more peace.

Well done.

Remember that these past experiences,

These triggers,

Anything that we are wishing to release from ourselves,

It's just energy.

We can take hold of it by using our breath.

We can release it.

It no longer serves you.

We can no longer allow it to take over our minds,

Our behaviours,

Our actions.

So come back to this technique when you can,

When you need to,

When you feel that you need to move through some stuff and to release.

So let's take a few last rounds together.

Now take that breath back to your comfortable breathing pattern.

Just take a few moments now to pause,

To tune into yourself and really observe what came up for you throughout that practice.

Bring some movement back to your body.

Maybe moving your fingers or your toes.

Take a big stretch.

Gently open your eyes in your own time.
