Namaste,

Dear soul,

Welcome to our joint meditation on mindful breathing,

Where we will find harmony of mind,

Body,

And soul.

Find a comfortable,

Quiet place,

Where you can sit on any surface,

Preferably semi-hard or hard.

It could be a chair,

Or you can sit in a half-lotus or lotus position.

Allow yourself at this moment to set aside all worries and thoughts,

And immerse yourself in the world of your inner peace.

Allow yourself to let go of all thoughts,

And simply be here and now.

Find a place where you can feel calm and comfortable.

Relax and close your eyes.

Throughout the session,

Maintain a straight spine and remain still.

This will help your mind become more concentrated,

And the knowledge gained will be absorbed more deeply.

Connect all your attention to your nostrils.

Remain there,

And only there,

Throughout the entire meditation,

Observing how the natural inhalation occurs.

How the natural exhalation occurs.

Begin to notice your breath.

Thus,

Sharpening your mind,

Delving deeper,

Exploring the subtlest sensations of the air touching the surface of the skin under the nostrils.

Throughout this meditation,

Try to sit still,

Maintaining an upright posture,

And regularly recall and return to your breath,

Tracking how inhale smoothly transforms into exhale.

Exhale smoothly transforms into inhale.

Sri Ramakrishna,

A 19th century Indian mystic and yogi,

Taught that the pursuit of God is the ultimate goal of life.

He said,

The winds of God's grace are always blowing.

It is for us to raise our sails.

Here,

Ramakrishna is emphasizing the importance of aligning oneself with the divine will,

And recognizing that true happiness and grace are not found in the external world,

But in one's spiritual practice and openness to divine influence.

Realizing that challenges are a constant aspect of existence allows us to see them as essential components of our path.

There will always be issues to confront.

As soon as we resolve one problem,

We would pass away a moment later,

If there were no more to face.

This is because these challenges serve as life's lessons,

Much like the purpose of attending school.

We attend school to gain knowledge,

To reflect,

And to consistently complete our assignments,

Not to neglect our studies and engage in harmful activities during breaks.

All of this growth occurs within us,

In our internal realm,

Not in the external world.

We strengthen and progress by surmounting hurdles.

No one else can provide you with true happiness.

It must originate from your internal realm.

If you harbor happiness within,

It will persist.

If your inner world is receptive to joy,

It will be evident in your life.

But if you haven't discovered this joy internally,

Don't anticipate finding it externally.

How can it appear if it doesn't already reside within you?

Our existence acts as a reflection of our internal state and awareness.

Life is a mirror,

Reflecting our inner world.

If we cultivate joy,

Tranquility,

And contentment within,

Our lives will naturally align with these qualities,

Drawing similar experiences and situations.

Consciousness is the driving force behind the unfolding of our life's events and our responses to them.

The principle of Vairagya teaches us that our internal condition,

Our principles,

And our perspective are the cornerstones of our being.

Living by the tenets of Vairagya,

We achieve inner liberation and autonomy.

This entails not being swayed by external situations or the views of others,

But rather pursuing our unique path.

Each individual's journey is distinct.

We cannot live another's life or assume another's identity.

This is among the most prevalent delusions throughout human history.

We can only live our own lives,

And we each confront death independently.

Birth and death are deeply personal experiences,

And in those moments,

We are solitary.

It is important to remember that happiness and satisfaction come from within us.

Nobody can make you truly happy,

And nobody can give you something that is not already in your inner world.

If you feel happiness within yourself,

It will always be with you.

If there is room for happiness in your inner world,

It will manifest in your life.

But if you haven't found this happiness in your inner world,

Don't expect it in life.

Because where can it come from if it's not inside you?

Our life is like a mirror reflecting our inner state and consciousness.

Consciousness is primary,

Everything else is secondary,

And it all begins and ends with Vairagya.

If we experience joy,

Peace,

And well-being within ourselves,

Then in our life we will attract similar events and circumstances.

Consciousness plays a primary role in determining how our life events unfold and how we react to them.

The concept of Vairagya emphasizes that our inner state,

Our values,

And our mindset form the basis of our existence.

What we accumulate and accomplish in life is a testament to our internal development,

Our convictions,

And our deeds.

By fostering self-discipline and insight,

We draw nearer to realizing the truth,

To the divine or the higher essence within us all.

In the hereafter,

We carry forward only that which resides in our consciousness,

And we can only present what existed within our internal realm.

If an individual pursues spiritual growth and lives by noble ethical standards,

They are on the path to spiritual awakening,

As these virtues are crucial in life and foster self-discipline.

When a person nurtures discernment and lives with detachment,

They are on the path to the divine,

For these are the paramount pursuits in life that aid in the development of abhyasa,

Discipline.

When we live in accordance with the principles of Vairagya,

We gain inner freedom and independence.

This means that we do not submit to external circumstances or the opinions of others,

But follow our own path.

Each person's life is unique and individual.

We cannot live someone else's life or pretend to be someone else.

This is one of the most common illusions in the history of humanity.

Each of us can only live our own life,

And each faces death alone.

Birth and death are very personal and intimate processes in which there is no one else but ourselves.

We come here alone.

We will leave here alone.

By developing discipline and wisdom within ourselves,

We come closer to understanding the truth,

To God or the higher power present in each of us.

In the afterlife,

We will take with us only what we already have within our consciousness,

And we will be able to present only what was in our inner world.

If a person strives for the development of their spirituality and lives according to high moral principles,

Then they are on the path to spiritual enlightenment.

If a person cultivates viveka and lives with viragya,

Then that person is on the path to God because these are the most important goals in a person's life that help develop abhyasa,

Discipline.

As B.

K.

S.

Iyengar said,

Observation of breath is the key to harmony of mind,

Body,

And soul.

Breathing is the bridge between the external and internal worlds.

When we consciously inhale and exhale,

We invite peace and clarity into our minds.

Allow your breath to be your guiding light on this journey to self-awareness and inner peace.

At this moment,

Let's release all thoughts,

All worries,

And simply be present in the moment,

Immersing ourselves in the feeling of breathing,

In its rhythm and flow.

Allow yourself to feel the natural harmony of your breath with the rhythm of your life.

Each inhale is a new beginning,

Each exhale is an opportunity to release tension and stress.

Your breath is your refuge,

Your anchor in a world of change and challenges.

Allow yourself to immerse in this moment,

In this simple but magical practice of mindful breathing,

And remember,

There is no need to strive for anything special or achieve specific results in this process.

Just be here and now,

Fully accepting yourself and the moment.

Sri Chinmoy said,

Meditation is acceptance.

It is the acceptance of life within us,

Without us,

And all around us.

Acceptance of life is the beginning of human satisfaction.

Transformation of life is the culmination of divine satisfaction.

So let's return to our breath until the end of this audio recording.
