Transcript

Welcome to this audio meditation in which we will use the practice of anapanasati,

Mindful breathing meditation,

And simultaneously explore viveka,

Discernment,

And varagya,

Detachment.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable,

Quiet place where you can sit on any surface,

Preferably semi-firm or firm.

It could be a chair,

Or you can sit in a half-lotus or lotus position.

Close your eyes.

Give yourself the opportunity to fully relax and focus under your nostrils on your breath.

And yes,

Throughout this meditation,

We will have to keep our backs straight.

And today,

We will have to sit still throughout the entire meditation.

So if you happen to move,

Consider yourself lost.

How long will you last,

Dear friend?

Immerse yourself in the awareness of your sensations.

Feel present in your body.

Feel how your still body touches the surface on which it resides.

In addition to complete stillness of the body,

Absorbing what inner freedom is,

Try to be attentive to your breathing,

Remembering it.

When you inhale,

Be aware of your inhale.

When you exhale,

Be aware of your exhale.

Continue to track your breath throughout the meditation in this way.

Feel how inhales and exhales naturally pass through your nostrils.

Allow yourself to be present in the moment,

Fully immersing yourself in I AM.

Connect all your attention under your nostrils and keep it there until the end of the meditation.

Direct all your attention under your nostrils and keep it there until the end of the meditation.

Pay attention to the thoughts that may come and go,

Like clouds in the sky.

Don't attach to them,

Don't judge them,

Just observe them as an observer.

Your consciousness is the ocean and thoughts are just waves on its surface.

Along with maintaining complete stillness of the body and understanding what it means to experience inner liberty,

Maintain focus on your breath,

Keeping it in mind.

As you draw breath in,

Be conscious of the inhalation and as you release it,

Be conscious of the exhalation.

Persist in monitoring your breath in this manner for the duration of your meditation.

Sense the natural flow of breath as it enters and exits through your nostrils.

Permit yourself to stay grounded in the present,

Deeply engaged with the essence of I AM.

Concentrate your awareness just below your nostrils and hold it there until your meditation concludes.

Notice the thoughts that drift in and out,

Akin to clouds passing in the sky.

Do not cling to them or pass judgment,

Simply watch them as a spectator.

Your awareness is like the vast sea and thoughts are merely the waves on its surface.

In practicing non-attachment,

Vairagya,

Let go of your hold on external items and material possessions.

Shift your devotion to the divine,

To the sacred presence within you.

This shift is a fundamental requirement for achieving inner tranquility and happiness.

People frantically search for peace,

Yet true peace must originate from within.

What actions are necessary to secure this peace?

You must live with awareness,

Discerning between what is everlasting and what is transient.

This discernment is the soul path to peace,

Which we will discover through the understanding that only the divine is everlasting.

Direct your attachment to God,

To the divine within you.

This is a necessary condition for inner peace and joy.

Everyone madly runs around in search of peace.

Peace must come from within.

What needs to be done to attain this peace?

We must live,

Aware and distinguishing between the eternal and the non-eternal.

This is the only way.

We will find peace only through the knowledge that only God is eternal.

As Tirumalai Krishnamacharya said,

Happiness is not found in owning things,

It manifests in freedom from the desire to own them.

Happiness does not come from the possession of things,

But from the absence of the desire to possess them.

What should we depend on in life?

Where do we find the wellspring?

Where do we find the fortitude to continue living?

Beyond our physical selves,

There's a divine presence within us.

Meditation is the method to connect with this presence.

Thus,

Through meditation,

All things become attainable.

Whatever you desire,

Because meditation is akin to a silent dialogue with the divine.

It's about establishing a connection,

Invoking the divine presence,

With all the resulting benefits.

This includes love,

Energy,

Joy and vitality.

All that we seek is found there.

Besides us,

There is God inside us.

Meditation is a way to turn to him,

And therefore,

With the help of meditation,

Everything is possible,

Everything you want.

Because meditation is a conversation,

A silent conversation with God,

It is the establishment of contact with him,

With all the ensuing consequences.

This is love,

And energy,

And happiness,

And health.

That very youth.

Everything is there.

Because there is the cause of everything,

There,

The beginning of beginnings.

Because we all came from there once.

The memory of this state drives people,

Towards the directions of love and happiness.

Otherwise,

How to understand?

Where from?

Where can they come from in this life,

If no one sees them?

Meditation is a way to find in life what you want,

In various spheres of our life.

In any,

Because the same thing is needed everywhere.

Energy is needed,

Prana is needed,

Love is needed,

Love as a state of human consciousness.

And the love that people have,

Is not a state of consciousness,

It is a reaction to events.

Someone appeared,

And you reacted,

You are happy,

This is joy.

Then he disappeared,

You are sad.

True love does not depend on it,

This is a state of consciousness.

Good is good,

No good is also good,

Because the source of love is not outside,

Not in this person,

But in you.

And for this reason,

You can give something to this person,

Not take,

As in the absolute majority of cases,

But give.

Because you have it,

You can give it.

And if not,

How can it be given?

It can only be taken,

And others also want to get it.

And therefore,

Relations do not develop.

Until there is nothing to give,

What can be the subject of these relations?

Only some calculations,

That someone will give and make you happy.

But this will never happen.

There will be no more money in the wallet from this.

Therefore,

If we want happiness,

Love in life,

It must be here in consciousness.

And meditation is the way,

How to get it all.

May each inhale fill you with peace and harmony,

And each exhale take away all doubts and worries.

In this world of eternal change and degradation,

Find stability in your inner divine self.

Remember the words from the Bhagavad Gita,

One who transcends their material attachments,

Attains inner peace and joy.

May these words serve as your compass in the search for truth within you.

Allow yourself to be free from attachments,

And find true peace,

True happiness.

Continue to observe your breath until the end of the audio session.

Only then will you develop true tranquility and inner peace.
