Warmest Greetings,
Precious Soul.
Welcome to the meditation on awareness of your breath for developing mindfulness,
Peace,
And harmony.
Please sit in a comfortable position on a chair in a half lotus or lotus posture where you can feel the support of the ground and the freedom of the air.
Close your eyes and allow your attention to shift to your breath,
To the center of your being.
Feel how the inhale naturally enters through your nostrils,
In,
In,
In.
Feel how the exhale naturally exits through your nostrils,
Out,
Out,
Out.
Observe the inhales,
Inhaling awareness of the inhale.
Observe the exhales,
Exhaling awareness of the exhale.
True peace lies within,
Not outside.
True peace resides within.
Here we work together to cultivate it.
Observe the inhales,
Inhaling awareness of the inhale.
Observe the exhales,
Exhaling awareness of the exhale.
In certain regions,
There are individuals from the fourth consecutive generation who have never worked,
Yet they lack the ability to meaningfully utilize their abundance of leisure time,
Squandering it in aimlessness.
In the contemporary era,
Numerous individuals face days brimming with concerns,
Yet remain adrift in an ocean of available time.
This time,
Ripe for spiritual development and introspection,
Often evaporates amidst trivial diversions.
We exist in a time where indulgence in entertainment and access to information are at our fingertips,
Yet the collective consciousness of many remains alarmingly underdeveloped.
They have lost sight of the fact that nurturing and understanding one's consciousness are vital to achieving harmony and discovering life's purpose.
We live in an era where access to entertainment and information has never been easier,
Yet the level of consciousness of many people is catastrophically low.
They have forgotten that the development and understanding of one's own consciousness are the keys to harmony and the meaning of life.
Why do we so often seek satisfaction externally?
Why is it so difficult for us to simply be with ourselves?
Why do we persistently search for gratification outside ourselves?
Why is the concept of being content in our solitude so challenging?
This stems from ignorance,
From not knowing how to engage with our inner selves,
And from neglecting the consciousness within that yearns for growth.
Why do we live?
As some might flippantly remark,
What a trivial question,
To live is simply to exist.
Why bother with yoga?
It's dismissed as irrelevant.
Just exist.
In the modern age,
Leisure time isn't harnessed for beneficial pursuits.
Instead,
It's often used to maintain societal control.
Furthermore,
The latest technological advancements are frequently misused.
Smartphones,
Computers,
The more gadgets we have,
The more detrimental the impact.
This happens because of ignorance,
Because we don't know what to do with ourselves,
And that inside us,
There is consciousness that needs to be developed.
Why do you live?
What a silly question.
I live and that's it.
One just has to live.
Why do you need yoga?
Nonsense.
Just live.
In the modern world,
Free time is not used for good.
It is rather used to keep everyone under control.
Moreover,
All the new achievements of progress people use to their detriment,
Mobile phones,
Computers,
The more of these gadgets,
The worse.
Why can't individuals find contentment within?
What drives their focus outward?
Why do they depend on external objects or others for a sense of fulfillment?
This occurs because individuals fail to comprehend their true desires,
Have yet to ascertain their identity,
Their role in the world,
And their direction.
A vast number of people lack a definitive purpose in life,
Leading to widespread issues such as alcoholism,
Drug addiction,
And other forms of self-destructive behavior.
This situation acts as a natural filter,
Weeding out the superfluous akin to removing weeds from a garden.
It arises because such individuals are missing a sense of purpose and direction.
They seek comfort in various forms of escapism and substances like alcohol and drugs,
Finding fleeting joy.
However,
Since this joy is externally sourced,
Dependency forms,
Inevitably resulting in suffering.
Given that everything in the world is impermanent,
What brings pleasure today may become a source of pain tomorrow.
A vast majority of people have no purpose in life in principle,
Hence alcoholism,
Drug addiction,
Toxicomania,
Etc.
,
Self-destruction.
Thus,
Natural filtration and purification from the unnecessary occurs.
Similar to weeding out weeds in the beds,
This happens because such a person lacks an understanding of their own purpose and direction in life.
They find solace in various forms of entertainment and substances like alcohol,
Drugs,
And experience.
However,
Since the source of this happiness is external,
Dependence inevitably forms.
This leads to suffering,
As everything in the world is subject to change,
And what brings joy today may lead to suffering tomorrow.
So allow this moment of free time to become an opportunity to meet yourself.
Look deeper inside and feel the presence of your own breath,
Your life force.
Relax and allow yourself to feel the silence within.
In this silence,
You may discover the source of true happiness.
Relax the strength lies in tranquility.
Observe the inhales,
Inhaling awareness of the inhale.
Observe the exhales,
Exhaling awareness of the exhale.
As we distance ourselves from external noise,
Our inner consciousness begins to become a source of true satisfaction and harmony for us,
Our support.
Perhaps earlier,
We sought happiness in worldly joys,
But now it's time to turn to the source within us.
In this silence and calmness,
We can find true well-being.
Let's spend some more time in this state of mindfulness.
Let your breath be your guide to inner harmony.
Notice how naturally serenity,
Letting go of all that burdens,
Occurs.
Observe the inhales,
Inhaling awareness of the inhale.
The breath calms down,
Calms down,
Calms down.
The mind becomes more balanced and focused.
Observe the exhales,
Exhaling awareness of the exhale.
As Tirumalai Krishnamacharya said,
Free time should be used not for indulgence but for growth and development.
