Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.

Sit comfortably with your spine naturally upright or lie down in a relaxed posture.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.

This meditation is an invitation to explore the silence between thoughts.

To recognize that Aum is not just a sound.

It is the space in which sound arises and dissolves.

It is the silence that has always been present,

Untouched by the mind,

Untouched by time.

Let go of any effort.

There is nothing to control or achieve.

Simply be.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Feel the inhale filling your body and the exhale releasing all tension.

There is no rush.

Just a natural flow of breath,

Like the rhythmic expansion and contraction of the universe itself.

Notice how,

At the end of each inhale and at the end of each exhale,

There is a moment of stillness,

A quiet pause,

A natural space where nothing needs to be done.

Allow yourself to settle into this stillness.

Now ask yourself,

Who is aware of this silence?

The silence is not empty.

It is full of presence.

It is alive,

Vibrant and completely still.

Let your awareness merge with it.

Now bring your attention to the subtle vibration of OM.

Not as a sound,

But as a presence.

A silent pulse underlying everything.

Notice how even in the chanting of OM there is a beginning,

A middle and an end.

And after the sound fades,

What remains?

Silence.

This silence is OM.

It is always here.

Let yourself rest in this silence.

No thoughts,

No effort.

Just pure,

Open awareness.

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Feel your body,

Your surroundings.

Yet something has shifted.

There is a deeper stillness now.

A recognition that silence is not the absence of something.

It is the presence of everything.

Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this deep silence with you into the world.
