Welcome to this 15-minute meditation practice that will help you experience the profound teachings of looking lovingly at an object and finding the blessing within.

Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in,

Inhaling positivity and exhaling any tension or stress.

Let's begin by bringing your awareness to the present moment.

Release any thoughts of the past or the future.

This moment is all that exists right now.

Now,

I invite you to open your eyes slowly and look at an object in front of you.

It could be anything,

An ornament,

A flower,

Or any simple item you choose.

As you gaze upon this object,

Remember the key to this meditation,

To look lovingly.

Ask yourself,

Have I ever looked lovingly at any object?

You may have looked at objects with desire or lust,

But that's different from looking lovingly.

In love,

The focus is on giving,

Not getting.

It's about making the other person or object happier,

Without expecting anything in return.

Shift your attention back to the object in front of you.

Look at it as if it were a person.

Visualize this object coming to life,

Radiating its uniqueness and becoming a person in your eyes.

Imagine that you can communicate with this object,

That it has feelings and desires just like any person would.

Feel your heart opening up with compassion and love for this object.

In this moment,

You're not thinking about what you can get from the object.

You're thinking about how you can make it happier,

More beautiful,

And more alive.

Now,

Shift your attention back to the object in front of you.

Look at it as if it were a person.

Visualize this object coming to life,

Imagine that you can communicate with this object,

Allow this thought to reverberate through your entire being.

Let it permeate every cell of your body and every corner of your mind.

Feel the deep love and compassion welling up within you as you look at this object.

Your consciousness is flowing towards it,

Thinking only of how you can bring it more joy.

Now,

Gently close your eyes and let go of the object in front of you.

Feel the love and compassion still flowing within you,

But now it's not directed at any particular object.

In this state,

You have forgotten yourself completely.

There's no concern for your own happiness or gratification.

You are purely focused on the happiness and well-being of the other.

As you remain in this state of selflessness,

Something remarkable happens.

Here,

In the middle of the object,

In the middle of your focused love and compassion,

Comes the blessing.

In this state,

Something remarkable happens.

Here,

It's important to realize that this blessing is not coming from the object itself or from the external world.

It's arising from within you.

When you forget yourself and pour your love onto an object,

You create a space for profound inner transformation.

In this space of selflessness,

You become centered.

In this space of selflessness,

Centered.

The external world,

The object,

And your own ego all fade into the background.

You are filled with bliss,

A bliss that arises from the depths of your own being.

Now,

In the remaining moments of this meditation,

Continue to sit in this state of selflessness and inner bliss.

Let go of any thoughts or expectations.

Simply be present in this moment,

Aware of the love and bliss within you.

Continue to sit in this state of selflessness and inner bliss.

As we conclude this meditation,

Let's extend this feeling of love and compassion to others.

Imagine your love expanding beyond this room,

Visualize it encompassing your loved ones,

Your friends,

And even those you may have conflicts with.

Silently say to yourself,

May all beings be happy,

May all beings be healthy,

May all beings live with ease,

May all beings be filled with love.

Imagine this loving kindness radiating from your heart,

Touching every living being on this planet.

May all beings be happy,

May all beings be healthy,

May all beings live with ease,

May all beings be filled with love.

Feel the interconnectedness of all life,

And know that your love and compassion have the power to make the world a better place.
