Using metaphors from nature like the sky, ocean, and space, you imagine yourself as the still, silent observer while thoughts, feelings, and sensations come and go like passing clouds, rising and falling waves, or objects appearing briefly in space around you. As you witness it all without attachment, you tap into a deep sense of equanimity, peace, and freedom. This meditation cultivates the perspective of being the unchanging observer, untouched by the movements of the mind or outside circumstances. You come to see you are awareness itself - open, calm, and profoundly present.
