This meditation guides you to find calm amidst a busy mind by inviting it into the heart space. Using the breath as an anchor, you learn to observe your thoughts without judgment as they arise. Visualizing thoughts as passing clouds or a babbling brook, you allow them to drift into the expansive heart space. Softening into the present moment, you create space around your thoughts, finding tranquility in the here and now. This simple, effective meditation trains the mind to let go of busyness and find peace within the Universal Heart.

Hello and welcome to this meditation that will guide us towards presence of awareness within the heart,

Our individual heart in the middle of the chest and also the universal heart as we invite the thinking mind,

The perpetual stream of thoughts to descend down into this space of open,

Spacious,

Still,

Holding,

Witnessing,

Nourishing.

So initially see if you can make yourself comfortable,

Allowing your body to take up whatever position is the most suitable for you and also inviting the possibility of readjusting at any point during this meditation to continue to seek the most comfortable way through your body and closing your eyes if that feels right and initially starting with taking a few deep breaths into the heart allowing the heart to feel nourished each passing breath and with each breath we're bringing the awareness to your heart center,

Situated in the middle of your chest and as you continue breathing slowly and rhythmically imagine you can breathe directly through your heart the breath flowing in and out through this space effortlessly and allow yourself to become aware of this thinking mind as we gently invite it to make its way down into the heart whenever thoughts arise in your mind.

See if you can simply acknowledge them without judgment or any need to resist or reject.

We can lay label the thinking as thinking rather than attaching and following any story or any meaning-making.

So as the thought arises say to yourself thinking and gently return your focus to the heart center as the thinking flows down into the heart and imagine the heart space as the blank canvas of the sky of your awareness.

Spacious,

All-inclusive,

All-encompassing and as we welcome the thoughts we can visualize them as clouds entering into the sky of the heart and passing through.

We can simply allow them to drift by without following or resisting.

As we continue to keep bringing the awareness back to the heart we can also visualize this repetitive inner dialogue as a babbling busy brook.

A body of water bursting flowing with all the thoughts and as you breathe into your heart space imagine this stream of thinking gently flowing into the ocean of your heart and becoming still.

Merging with the stillness of the heart and here your heart effortlessly contains your thoughts absorbing them into its silent space.

We can dwell in the stillness within the heart and embrace the natural ebb and flow of the thoughts as we stay connected to the heartbeat and the calm that surrounds the heartbeat and as we tune into the space of our individual heart we can begin to dissolve any boundaries,

Any physical limits of the heart and of our body and merge with the universal heart allowing the thoughts to roam freely within this expansive field of consciousness and you can rest here for as long as feels comfortable.

You can pause the meditation and continue to tune into this heart within the universal heart,

Blending,

Merging,

Unifying into one field of consciousness.

Whenever you feel ready you can let this meditation roll to its end ever so gently,

Returning more consciously to your breath,

Embodying the presence of the lungs and allowing your eyes to ever so gently flutter open as you come back to your physical body and the invitation here is to see if you can carry this inner stillness with you as you transition into the rest of your day.

I wish you a peaceful rest of your day.
