Well done on making it through this course,
All the embodiment classes.
I wanted to talk a little bit about making this second nature and eventually getting all the way to what I like to call complete animalistic homeostasis.
So let's get into it.
I want to first do a bit of a review of this course.
Here we go.
All right,
Reviewing our shaking medicine beginners course.
So first we looked at the fundamentals of what shaking medicine was about.
It's about letting go of control and surrendering.
It's a somatic body-based practice primarily.
I shared some of my story.
The history.
You can think of this as perhaps the oldest medicine on earth or at least one of them because it's been evolving since before humans were even around in the nervous system of animals.
It's a very scientific thing.
It's genetically encoded.
It's in our biology.
We're all born with it.
That's important.
This is more like waking something up rather than learning something new.
There's so many beautiful benefits.

It works to heal us,
To bring us into balance,
And to cultivate our potential.
Generally it works on the physical,
The energetic,
The emotional,
Mental,
Spiritual,
The aches,
Pains,
Tensions,
Stress,
Anxiety,
Suppressed emotions,
And trauma.
And it gets to the root of a lot of our issues.
So the outcomes of this beginner's course is to awaken this thing up,
To build up your relationship with it so you can trust it,
To reach this first threshold where you understand it by experiencing it.
It's woken up.
You can turn it on and off and basically trust it deeply and know how to explore this safely and effectively.
This awakens your instinct and intuition.
Our goal is always to empower you.
Like we're not doing that,
Right?
We're supporting you to wake something up that is powerful,
That is empowering.
So that's the goal and we want to share this with as many people all around the world as possible.
Empower people everywhere.
Yeah,
So that's a bit of the outcomes.
And of course we want to do this safely,
Sustainably,
Effectively.
So stopping and starting a lot is one of the most important pieces to keeping it safe.
Think less is more.
We want to sustainably embody this.
It's better to have consistency over a long period of time rather than overshake in a very short period of time and possibly do more harm than good.

So yeah,
What else do we got?
Using this course,
There's a lot of,
I'd like to add to this,
A lot of repeatability where basically because the tremor moves us uniquely every time we tremor,
Each time we do one of these classes,
We'll get new things out of it and that our tremor will move differently.
We'll pick up different aspects of the sharings,
Different suggestions will resonate at different times,
No doubt.
So class one was really a balanced class of awakening this thing,
Learning how to turn it on and off and using some of our fundamental slow moving and relaxed strategies for tuning in.
And then we learned that shaking medicine is nervous system hygiene.
That's one of the best ways I like to think about it is this is like fine tuning our nervous system.
It's purifying and tonifying the nerves of the body.
Each class is unique.
Each time we tune into it,
It's unique.
There's a lot of tips for getting it if you're struggling to get the tremor in.
So go through those,
Authentically apply them as best as you can.
And even if you are getting it,
These tips are great to support you in getting it even deeper or getting it to move into those stubborn parts that it just doesn't seem to want to move into because generally it can move through all the parts of us.
And if you keep going,
It no doubt will more and more and get ever more easy.
So there's a lot of ways that things you can feel in shaking medicine.
It's a wavy cyclical process.
And remember to go safely,
Titrate into the intense experiences and back out.
We don't want to overshake sustainable practice.
Class two is a more active class where we tone and activate our potential is the idea.
Even though at first it's usually more much more about letting go of the things that don't serve us.
I want to go ahead and plant that seed early that this is more than just clearing the aches and pains and tensions.
It's awakening a power within you that you can really use to find your potential,
Access your potentials.
Each practice is so unique and can't iterate that enough.
We talked about somatics and trauma and how this idea,
This is a somatic modality.
And we talked about the idea of charges.
Think of to the mechanism,
All this is like a pent-up condensation of energy.
And we want to relax the thinking mind to get that out of the way,
Which sometimes blocks us from feeling.
And then allow the tremor mechanism,
This animalistic part of you to unravel it.
As we advance into later in like the intermediate course and some of the more advanced practices,
We do start connecting it more to shaking medicine,
Using this mechanism in conjunction with things like going into the story,
However that is,
The memory,
The talk therapy,
And using it as well for actually many applications.
So that is,
There's no limit here.
It's just on a base level,
It's like we want to do this thing that we're,
Most of us aren't used to,
Which is get out of the thinking mind into feeling and let the body do its thing.
So class three was a more yin version of a class,
A softer version.
We stayed,
The whole class was on the ground.
And this is emphasizing that this mechanism is awakening and strengthening our capacity to be intuitive and instinctive.
So if you keep going with shaking medicine,
You'll likely find that your intuition sharpens and your ability to move from a heart space and an instinctive gut intelligence just keeps growing.
At this point,
We have our range of motion strategy,
Micro-moving,
Squeezing,
Tiring out or fatiguing,
And getting into the neural rewiring aspect.
These are all kind of methods of discovery,
Of the discovery phase of exploring,
Finding tremors,
Or helping to move the tremor through the body,
To then go into the surrender phase of,
Which is,
We always want to be in that,
Spend a good bit of time if we can in that surrender phase.
Even if I'm suggesting a lot of things,
Just leave some of it for now and hang out in that surrender phase,
Because that's the the instinctive mechanism moving you how you need to be moved.
And that's what will greatly grow your intuitive and instinctive intelligences through this method.
We rolled around on the ground.
I love the rolling stuff.
I'll do a lot more of that as well later on,
And some of the other content in the school community.
So here,
We talked more about the history.
This comes from animals,
Indigenous to it,
And so on.
We talk about the concept of the koshas,
And this fills the gap.
It really targets that middle kosha,
The emotional body,
The nervous system,
Which is largely missing.
A practice at that level is largely missing from other very popular practices out there,
Like yoga.
So it's,
Yeah,
It gets into the trauma,
The trapped emotions,
And such.
Breathing and shaking medicine,
Abdominal breathing is the way,
At least early on.
And as we go forth,
I've been developing a whole spontaneous breathwork modality,
Where we do look at a lot of other breathing aspects of how we can use breath and different breathwork phenomena to complement shaking medicine and vice versa.
So stay tuned with that.
These thresholds of embodiment,
This is a generalized idea of the journey.
The goal of this beginner's course is to reach that first threshold,
Which doesn't mean necessarily,
Like,
You're super proficient at it yet.
I mean,
You've only done a handful of classes,
As if this is your only experience before shaking medicine.
The idea is to,
Is to,
After this,
If you want to keep going,
To go and get to that second threshold,
Which is where this is second nature again,
Like the wild animal in nature.
Make this so intuitive to use that it's just,
It becomes easily part of your life again.
And a beautiful thing happens at this threshold where it's like the nervous system has so much momentum,
It's like it doesn't even want to stop until it gets to this third threshold of animalistic homeostasis.
And that's,
That's a beautiful place to be because we're like the wild animal ever present,
Not holding on to the past,
Not worrying about the future.
We've basically shed our whole trauma onion.
We've discharged all the charges.
And for those who want to keep going in their cultivation,
That's when more advanced yogic and qigong practices and such,
Like,
Through advanced meditations and such can really just be efficient.
And we can go deep because it's hard to meditate in a traumatized body.
Shaking medicine,
Yeah,
It complements everything in life.
This last class was another balanced class where emphasizing that this whole modality is about empowering yourself with your mechanism of trimmering that you're born with,
And to be more playful,
Ever more playful,
Intuitive,
And creative.
We talked about,
We talked about our human antenna,
This biofield.
We did this self-regulating with the eyes,
Very powerful.
Bring that in into your life in general.
I can help move mental stuck energy or emotions trying to process in the brain.
And talked a little bit more about the neurogenesis and rewiring being a practice of the nervous system.
It's very good at that.
It does that any movements we can do that are different.
And I love to do that in the warmup,
Just movements that we're in and get into angles we're not so used to using.
Because by feeling those parts of us that we don't use,
We start to find those,
That SMA,
The sensory motor amnesia,
The numbness.
And we can lock in on those charges that this mechanism then can more easily find and discharge.
We did extremities,
Shaking from the outside in,
And then we can also go from the inside out.
Extremities are usually harder than the big muscle groups,
But they no doubt more and more will turn on more and more easily.
Extremities also include the face and the eyes and the jaw.
So for example,
When you're self-regulating with the eyes,
Or even just in general,
The eyes can start to tremor,
Which is kind of like a reprogramming of memory.
It's really,
Really nice.
So my invitation for you,
If you enjoy this,
Is to keep going.
Keep going while the momentum is strong.
Make this second nature.
Now that you're at this first threshold,
Keep going and keep reaping the many profound benefits,
Because this is just really the tip of the iceberg.
The more you go,
The more you surrender to it,
The more it'll move you how you need to be moved in any given moment.
And that becomes wu-wei,
Effortless action.
The mechanism just does it for you.
And the more those subtle parts will tune in,
And the more you'll move into harmony,
And everything in life is better when there's more balance and harmony,
Less stress,
And just more peace in the body.
Your human antenna,
Your human biofield,
Whatever gets stronger,
You'll get more sensitive to,
Which is a great thing.
I love being super sensitive,
But also resilient at the same time.
It's like a shield that's just as strong as a sensitivity,
So I can allow in what I want and not allow in what I don't want,
Basically.
It's like a superpower to be super sensitive,
Yet resilient,
Which helps with being sensitive to energy in these ways is really beautiful.
I use it in my bodywork to be able to feel so sensitively these charges that shaking medicine helps us discharge.
Basically,
The medicine we practice and embody is what we can feel.
So when I'm doing bodywork,
There it is,
There's a charge,
And it's just there,
I can feel it to discharge it.
It's very powerful.
If we're ever in the same area,
Let's do some bodywork,
Because I love to do it.
It's really nice.
The purging that you'll experience will no longer keep getting deeper.
As you keep going,
It's like a lot of people,
Not just me,
But a lot of people indicate that it's like,
Wow,
A power has awakened within them.
I don't want to claim we'll be super human or anything like that,
But it's like the yogis might call it kundalini.
There's something special,
Something strong and potent that starts awakening,
Which is why I often say another name for this modality could be yin kundalini yoga.
It's a very powerful way to unleash the serpent life force that they call it.
And a lot of people who don't care to use that lens,
It's just,
Think of it as like this potent life force power within you that starts to come online more and more,
Not from forcing it,
But from clearing the gunk.
And then it's just like,
That's really our natural state.
It just starts to come online.
So if this is feeling good for you,
Create some lasting change by keep going,
Keep the sustainable practice,
Keep the momentum alive.
Sustainability is really key here.
So that might take a bit of discipline to keep going,
Which you must have at least some if you've made it this far.
Some earnest effort,
Consistency,
And sustainability in your practice,
Because less is more.
Again,
We don't want to overshake too much too quick.
It's better to do a little bit for months and years,
Perhaps,
Rather than try to do a whole bunch in a day or a week and kind of fry the electrics of our nervous system,
So to speak.
So I've designed the Shaking Medicine Intermediate course to get us to this next threshold.
That's kind of the intention of it,
Is to do enough practices to easily make this second nature.
And that happens,
I'd say most people in about 10 to 40 classes or so get to this feeling of like,
Wow,
It's so easy to use that it's just part of their life all the time again.
And this course is 15 more classes.
It's a progressive 15 class journey with some more talk videos.
So where basically,
If you can just have the discipline to show up and do the course recording,
That'll take you really far in your journey to invite you to do that next.

This is my third official rendition of the beginner's course,

I've been spending,
It's been years in development so far.
And then I should say there's,
Yeah,
A lot of repeatability because each time we'll pick up new things.
So do this beginner's course multiple times if you want,
The intermediate course multiple times if you want.
So many applicable fields,
Like everything in life is better when we're in less stress and trauma.
Here's a list of just so many ways,
And there's infinitely more.
But think anything sports,
Creativity,
Trauma,
Mental health,
Any health and well-being,
Body work,
Yoga,
Qigong dance,
Any therapy,
Any teaching.
There's many branches of shaking medicine where we can go and support the world with this stuff.
So keep shaking sustainably.
Don't ever shake.
I can't say it enough.
I don't want to see anyone overdo.
I just spoke to a lot of this.

I'm able to do the zentai shiatsu,

Shamanic release and cathartic,
Spontaneous releases through the touch and such.
So I invite you to stay.
