Guided meditation for challenging times.

Come into a comfortable seated position with your hips higher than your knees.

Feel yourself connect through your seat to the earth beneath you.

Allow yourself to take just a few moments right here to be still.

Breathe in through your nose,

Filling up your lungs all the way up,

Expanding.

Breathe out gently,

Allowing the breath to flow from your body softly.

Breathe in ease,

Breathe out stress.

Breathe in safety,

Breathe out fear.

These are challenging times.

Something has happened and you wonder if everything will be alright.

Breathe in through your nose,

Filling up your lungs all the way up,

Expanding.

Breathe out gently,

Allowing the breath to flow from your body softly.

Breathe in peace,

Breathe out worry.

Right here,

Right now,

Imagine a perfect morning when everything is just fine.

Everything is calm.

Everything is safe.

Everything is easy.

Right here,

Right now,

Let go of stress.

Right here,

Right now,

Let go of fear.

Right here,

Let go of worry.

You will be safe.

You will be well.

You will be happy.

Your loved ones will be safe.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your lungs.

Feeling the health of your lungs.

Give thanks for the breath.

Give thanks for your life.

Feel the earth beneath you.

Thank you for this meditation. This is exactly what I need. I need to remember these things as going through some struggles with a family member. I want to remain calm, and that is my objective. I want to come from a place of love and a place of peace, and sometimes that is so hard. And it truly is about loving those that are close to us. And also doing it for them. my dad passed away if you want to go and it’s created some turmoil within our family so I will come back to this often to remember that staying calm will get me much farther and also help my mom through this difficult time.
