Hello and welcome.
Let us do a morning meditation to increase our intuition and to get us centered.
So go ahead and close your eyes.
I'm going to encourage you to pay attention to your sensations in your body.
So first thing,
What is the furthest sound that you can hear?
How far away is it?
Maybe outside you can hear trucks or cars going by.
Sound of construction.
Rain.
What do you hear up there?
And now bring your awareness to the room that you're sitting in.
What types of sounds are around you?
Ticking of a clock.
Sound of an animal.
A radio or TV in the other room.
What do you hear?
And now take your hearing into your body.
Can you hear your breathing?
Can you hear your heartbeat?
What do you hear inside?
Just breathe.
Since you just woke up,
Your mind might be a bit quiet.
Or maybe it's rushing off into the day.
Let's spend a few minutes together in this morning meditation.
Preparing ourselves for a glorious day.
And what better day to do it than now?
So I'd love you to imagine yourself in the most pristine place in nature.
This might be a beach that you visit often.
Or the white sand.
Gorgeous ocean waves.
Or the sun.
The heat of the sun.
See yourself lying on the ground.
Staring up at the sky.
In your most beautiful place in nature.
And just breathe.
Imagine yourself in this place in nature.
Given that this is first thing in the morning,
You might have a lot of thoughts or none at all.
Imagine yourself in this place in nature looking up at the sky.
Temperature is perfectly set for your body.
Just breathe.
Just breathe.
Imagine if you will,
There's gorgeous white clouds in the sky above.
And each of the white clouds represent a thought.
And the blue sky represents stillness.
And calm.
So if there are a lot of thoughts,
Just imagine the white cloud drifting by.
Don't push it away.
Don't force it away.
Just stay in your breath.
Hearing your heartbeat.
Hearing your heartbeat.
Hearing your breath.
Visualizing the cloud drift by.
Only to leave you back into the space with the blue sky.
If you have to do this over and over again during this meditation,
Repeat it.
Think for a moment.
Once you find that blue sky,
Think for a moment about something you're grateful for.
Maybe it's the ability to hear.
Perhaps,
Perhaps,
It's the beautiful day.
Maybe you're grateful for the warm home that you're sitting in right now.
Or the ability to hear my voice.
Find something you're grateful for.
And just feel it in your body.
And sit still.
With that sense of gratitude emanating from your heart.
And just breathe.
And now,
Believe it or don't,
A thought will emerge or has already emerged of something else to be grateful for.
It's the nature of thoughts.
Thought one becomes thought two,
Becomes thought three,
Becomes thought four.
And perhaps the thought you're grateful for now is your breath and your heartbeat.
So much gratitude,
The ability to breathe.
The ability to hear.
The ability to smell.
And sit with the gratitude of that in your heart.
Just breathe.
And before you know it,
Another thought of gratitude comes in.
I'm grateful for the ability to think.
I'm grateful for my health.
I'm grateful for my body.
I'm grateful for this moment.
And just keep continuing this.
Every thought creates the emotion.
And the emotion creates a thought.
And the thought creates the emotion and gets stronger and stronger.
As I get quieter,
I just start to notice what's happening in your body.
I'm grateful for this day.
Grateful for this day.
Grateful to be alive.
Grateful for this wisdom.
Grateful for this ability to listen to this meditation.
I'm grateful.
Grateful.
Grateful for this day.
And just breathe into that.
The attitude of gratitude as you move through your day can be life-changing.
It can shift your focus.
And can exponentially improve the quality of your life.
So as I get quiet for the next one to three minutes,
See if you can let more grateful thoughts to occur.
But also,
Please pay attention to how they feel in your body.
In your heart.
As you continue to breathe.
Pay attention to everything happening in your body.
Feel the calmness.
Quietness.
And the ease of the muscles.
Gratitude changes your energy.
It creates more ease and freedom.
More joy and more stillness.
You may be experiencing goosebumps.
Or tingles.
These are signs from the universe to know you are supported.
You are loved.
And you are cared for.
And you are cared for.
Feel that breath rise and fall.
This gratitude for the incredible day that is coming your way.
Stay here as long as you wish.
A few more minutes or longer.
Thank yourself for starting your day off.
In the most beautiful way possible.
I love you all.
I love you all.
I love you all.
