So now I want to walk you through a little exercise on how to open.
So go ahead and find a comfortable place if you're not there already.
Take a deep breath.
And let your eyes close.
Let yourself just bring your awareness to your body.
In particular,
Finding any tension in your body.
Letting the places it might be surprise you.
Check your feet.
Let those relax and open.
Check your legs.
Even deep into the muscles of your upper legs.
Like that,
Relax and open.
Bring your awareness to your hips.
Let go of any tension there.
Almost like you're unwinding and relaxing each part.
Letting your belly relax and open.
Letting your ribcage soften and release.
Release.
Bring your awareness up to your heart and your chest.
Letting this relax,
Unwind,
Soften.
Releasing your arms.
Letting go of any tension held in your neck.
Letting it soften and release.
Maybe some movement may feel good.
Relax the muscles of your face.
Release.
And let your thoughts soften.
Let your mind gentle and ease.
Let the top of your head relax and open.
Allow any tension,
Any hardness,
Any uncertainty that may be held in your cellular structure.
Give it permission to release and let go.
Deepen the cells of your body.
Any forcing.
Any attachments.
Any holding on.
Any needs.
Any needs to be a certain way.
Need to make others be a certain way.
Relaxing even the air around you.
Relaxing,
Breathing,
Softening,
And allowing.
And now experiencing yourself as open.
What is it like to be open in this moment?
Know that this is vulnerability.
That this is real openness without attachment.
Notice that it's okay.
And when you're ready,
Come back to the room,
Leaving your tensions behind,
And bring your awareness back to the video,
Back to my voice,
Back to the here and now in the room that you're in.
The space where you are.
Without picking back up any of the attachments and tensions that you've just let go of.
And notice how you can be here focused,
Present with me,
Receiving without all of that tension and rigidity and stories that you were carrying a few moments ago.
Beautiful.
Very good.
Practice this as often as you like.
