Hi everyone,

My name is Domini Drew with the Art of Attraction and Inner Evolution and this is a body scan for effortlessness.

Let's begin.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.

Without trying to alter it or change it in any way,

Let yourself just notice how far down your body does your breath naturally come on its own in this moment.

Notice if any judgments come up for you.

Notice if there's any opinion in your head around what breath should look like.

Just notice those and let them go.

Now that you know how far down your body your breath comes,

Let yourself be curious as to whether or not it flows in evenly from the left side of your body to the right.

And now from the front of your body to the back.

Until you have a full three dimensional picture of what your breath is doing in this particular moment.

Now pause and ask yourself what story are you telling yourself about the information that you have so far?

Is your breath not deep enough?

Is it tense?

Is it too shallow?

Too left,

Too right,

Too forward,

Too back?

What story are you making true about your breath rather than just allowing it to be what it is in this moment?

These stories impact us on our daily life.

They carry weight.

They take effort.

In a subtle way they are small creations which argue with reality.

Sometimes altering it entirely or denying its very existence but sometimes more subtly changing a hue,

Shooing a breath.

Breath should be deep.

Oh,

Is that necessarily true in every moment?

So keeping your awareness on your breath let yourself notice these small stories.

As we journey down the body into deeper and deeper awareness notice the small stories,

The small phrases,

Gentle emotions that may come up along the journey.

Let your awareness come now to the line where your breath stops.

What is it do you see there that is blocking your breath from flowing in even more deeply?

Let this answer come in many forms.

Allow yourself to receive it.

Here is a practice of listening,

Of being rather than doing.

Allow whatever is there to be there and journey down even further into your hips.

What's the story that you tell yourself about your hips or other people's hips or what hips should or shouldn't do in life?

Whatever that story is,

That color,

That shade that is altering the reality that hips are just hips,

Allow yourself to let it go in this moment.

Allowing effortlessness to replace it.

Imagine how effortless it would be to just allow things to be how they are.

Imagine how effortless it would be to just allow things to be as they are.

Allow yourself to exist in your hips.

Let your awareness rest there.

Allow it to travel around down even deeper into the bowl of your pelvis,

Into this deep and sacred area of the body.

Here you store so much power,

Creativity,

Literal ability to create life,

Vulnerability,

And often we hide anger here.

We hide rage and we squash our creativity.

In this moment,

Allowing whatever is there to be there.

Put your breath down into your pelvis.

Let it fill the bowl.

Appreciate this part of your body even if it's an area you struggle with.

Maybe it's enough to appreciate the struggle.

Let yourself bring self-forgiveness here,

Acceptance,

Understanding,

And compassion.

And feel as you do so,

Yes,

Feel it relax and open.

The invitation here is to open and accept every part of your body just as it is in this moment.

How effortless that feels.

Coming down now into your legs,

Your thighs,

Feeling appreciation for your thighs,

Sending love there.

What story are you telling yourself about your thighs?

Are they too big,

Too small,

Too left,

Too right?

Whenever that comes to mind,

You can ask yourself,

Too big for what?

Feel your relationship with this part of your body ease and relax as you allow what's there to be there without trying to change,

Without pushing them away or judging them or telling them on any level that there's some other way that they should be.

Moving down to your knees,

What story do you tell yourself about your knees?

Bring compassion here and let it flow down into your calves.

What story do your calves get told by your mind?

And then let your awareness and even your breath come down to your feet.

Now deeply pausing at the top and release on the exhale.

Let your awareness sink into your feet.

What story do you tell yourself about your feet?

Are they too big,

Too small,

Too strange?

They don't look the way you want them to.

And allow yourself in this moment to let that story go and to just see your feet as they are.

Feel appreciation for the work that they do.

Allow your breath to come all the way through your body now and fill your feet on every breath.

Sitting in total acceptance of your body in the here and now.

Total allowing of reality to be as it is in this moment.

Not assuming that you know a better way that it should be but rather trusting.

Trusting what it is.

Feel the effortlessness in that trust to let go,

To allow,

To not fight or push or pry.

To not try and force things to be another way but rather just allowing.

And from this place allowing yourself to begin to shine.

As this effortlessness fills your body and the weight starts to ease up and ease starts to flow in,

Allow it to fill you.

Allow yourself to feel light and begin to brighten.

Without the weight of the worry and tension and stories you will be able to fly.

This is who you really are.

Unburdened by shoulds,

By thoughts of insecurities,

By uncertainty and worry of what others might think or what others might do.

This is your place of freedom.

In your freedom you find your effortlessness and in your effortlessness you find your freedom.

This is who you are.

Come back to this whenever you need and whenever you're ready.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

My name is Domini Drew.

A beautiful and soothing body scan, full of compassion for the body and true self. A calming and accepting vocal and an invitation to let go of any false images I might be carrying. Thank you for helping me find my compassion for myself 💞
