Rub your fingers together.

Relax your body.

Soften your jaw.

Take a slow breath.

Hold on.

Hold on for a million beautiful reasons unknown to you yet.

For wisdom,

For grace,

For faith.

Hold on for 10 breaths.

Hold on to the reason why you chose not to wither or cower.

Your body,

Your voice,

Your rights,

Your zest for life.

Keep breathing.

Inhale deeply,

Exhale slowly.

Fill your whole body with your breath and keep holding on.

Hold on to pieces of it at a time.

Hold on to the thread that we've surrendered into resilience.

Hold on to hope.

Hold on to your heart.

On to love.

On to you.

Because you are so worth holding.

So hold on to you and breathe.
