Today's breathwork practice has been designed to help cultivate deep relaxation,
Peace,
Calm and tranquility within.
The reduced breathwork technique will also help you to relieve stress and anxiety,
Feel peace and self love on a deeper level,
Stimulate self-healing.
It will help you create a heightened state of consciousness and inspiration that will allow you to discover your true self and your deeper inner calling,
While providing you with a renewed energy and empowerment within the mind,
Body,
Soul and spirit.
Throughout practice I would like you to maintain a soft gaze to your third eye and inhale through your nose,
From your diaphragm,
Then into your chest,
Then into your shoulders for the count of four.
On the exhale I will let you to exhale through your mouth for the count of eight,
Very slowly with pursed lips as if you're breathing through a straw and as you exhale feel the breath travel back down from your shoulders,
Back down into your chest and then back down into your abdomen.
We will repeat this cycle throughout practice and I will guide you through each beat.
At the end of the rhythmical breathing cycle there'll be a breath retention phase and I'll tell you when to take a full deep inhale through the nose,
Pulling up from the mullabandha,
The pelvic floor muscles at the same time.
There'll be a momentary breath hold followed by a slow deep exhalation through the mouth and when you've removed all the air from your lungs I want you to hold your breath and go into your breath retention phase,
Just pushing past the level of comfort.
I will then instruct you to take a full deep inhale through the nose,
Again pulling up from the mullabandha,
The pelvic floor muscles.
There will be a momentary breath hold at the top and then I want you to return back to your own natural breathing rhythm.

And when you've removed all the air from your lungs,
Hold your breath and go into your breath retention phase.

I am allowing relaxation to restore my energy and replenish my spirit.
I am worthy of moments of pure relaxation and rejuvenation.

And when you can't hold your breath any longer,
Taking a full,
Deep inhale,
Contracting the pelvic floor muscles,
Sending the energy up from the base of your spine.
From the base of your spine into your midbrain,
Your higher arms of your creative power.
And for a moment,
Hold.
Connect with this deep sense of inner peace,

This rejuvenation.
And then breathe fully out,
