Wherever you are,
Whatever you're doing,
Take a moment to become aware of your breath,
And just notice.
Just notice.
Maybe you notice the way the air enters the nostrils,
Exits the nostrils,
Or maybe you can feel your chest and belly rise and fall as you just witness the breath.
Maybe you sigh on the exhale,
Just observing the breath in this moment.
I find that just watching the breath,
Allowing the attention to be on the breath for even just a minute or two,
Can radically shift how calm,
Relaxed,
And at ease the body is.
Just becoming aware of what's there,
Mindful presence in this moment as you attune to you.
And as you continue following the breath,
You might even feel your heart notice what you notice.
Does it expand with the lungs as you place your attention there now?
And if it feels true for you,
And if it's safe for you to do so right now,
Depending on where you are and what else is happening in your environment,
You may even wish to gently let the eyelids flutter closed so you can bring even more attention and focus to the breath,
Breathing the body in this moment,
And the heartbeat in the chest.
I want to invite you to draw your focus inward,
Listening deeply to the breath and the heartbeat in this moment.
And you might even notice that as you continue to focus on the breath and the heartbeat,
The muscles in your jaw and your face relax.
Maybe the muscles in your neck,
Your upper back,
And your shoulders relax.
The muscles in your hands can also relax even more fully now.
And as you continue listening in,
Listening for the sound of your own breath and the feeling of your heartbeat.
Maybe you imagine in your mind's eye,
Beating and carrying little blood vessels with oxygen all around the body.
And I want you to become aware how this is happening automatically,
On its own.
There is no need to direct the process.
The heart knows how to beat.
The lungs know how to breathe.
And they do so automatically on their own.
And you can witness and marvel at the intelligence of this body.
And as you continue to witness the breath and the heartbeat,
Maybe you can become even more aware of the gift of this moment,
Of this body,
Of this breath bestowed upon you by your own,
By your power.
And just noticing what you notice when you consider that.
Sometimes there might be a quickening,
Perhaps a slowing.
And just noticing what you notice,
I can share with you that my highest power is divine love.
The love,
The sacred mother,
The sacred father.
The love that comes generously with no strings attached.
Just like the breath enters the body,
Can take as much as you need,
All that you don't.
In a moment,
I'll invite you to bring some intentional movement into the body.
Maybe you wiggle the fingers,
Maybe you undulate the spine.
Moving in whatever way feels good for the body right now.
And allowing the movement to be guided by the breath.
Maybe the head rolls as the neck moves in circles.
Maybe the hips shake.
Just allowing yourself to let the body move in whatever way feels right for you right now.
And as you bring your full awareness back into this space,
I want to invite you to keep that thread of connection to the gift of the breath tethering you to your higher power in this moment.
You are being guided and provided for in each and every moment.
