Hi my friend,
I am very happy to welcome you to this meditation.
My name is Diana,
I am a Mind-Body Connection coach,
A meditation teacher and a psychosomatic specialist.
In today's meditation,
We will use a powerful technique,
A guided visualization that helps us connect with our inner child and cultivate self-compassion.
I often use this psychosomatic technique with my private clients,
Because it is a gentle and effective way of not only healing the wounds of the past,
But totally transforming the present and future reality.
And as a nice bonus,
It promotes self-love and emotional well-being.
So,
I invite you to sit upright,
With a relaxed torso and shoulders,
And let's create a special place within ourselves,
A heaven for self-love.
Imagine a room filled with a soft golden glow,
Like the warmth of a setting sun.
As you step into the sanctuary,
Feel the floor beneath your feet.
Perhaps it is a plush carpet that cradles your soles with softness,
Or maybe it is cool,
Smooth stone that grounds you with a sense of stability.
Notice the calming scent of the golden light that surrounds you.
Is it the calming aroma of lavender,
The sweet comfort of vanilla,
Or something else entirely personal and soothing?
As you settle into this peaceful space,
Allow a younger version of yourself to appear.
This is your inner child,
Perhaps carrying the weight of the past hurts or worries.
See them clearly.
Their eyes full of curiosity,
Their spirit longing for acceptance.
Take a moment to acknowledge any emotions they might be feeling.
Sadness,
Anger,
Fear,
Confusion,
Or happiness,
Curiosity,
Excitement.
It is okay to feel any of these emotions.
Let them know that you understand them with compassion.
Whisper gently to your inner child,
I see you,
I care about you,
It is okay to feel what you feel.
What else do they want to hear from you?
And offer them your total presence.
Go to your inner child and give them a hug.
Feel their small body curl up against you,
Finding comfort in your warmth.
Imagine playing with them in this heaven for a moment.
Perhaps you build a sandcastle together,
Full of laughter and joy.
Or maybe you curl up and read a story,
Sharing a moment of quiet connection.
Now imagine a gentle energy flowing through you,
Filling your heart with its comforting presence.
Feel this energy radiate outwards,
Reaching your inner child.
It washes away doubts or pain they might hold on to.
Let the light of self-love spread through their body,
Filling their eyes with light and their heart with peace.
And encourage them to silently repeat these affirmations.
I am loved,
I am worthy,
I am safe.
See their expression transform.
The fear melts away,
Replaced with a radiant smile and eyes sparkling with newfound confidence.
They reach out and hug you back,
Their touch a reminder of the love you offer.
In this shared embrace,
Feel the golden light of self-love surround you both.
Feel it strengthen your connection,
Healing old wounds and nurturing acceptance.
Know that you and your inner child are one,
Forever supported by this boundless love.
This heaven of self-love is always here for you,
A place you can return to,
To connect with your inner child and bask in the warmth of self-acceptance.
Enjoy this feeling within you,
Radiating kindness,
Worthiness and compassion to the world around you.
Before gently opening your eyes,
Take a few deep breaths,
Feeling your chest rise and fall.
Bring your awareness back to your body in the present moment.
Feel the ground beneath your feet,
The air on your skin.
Carry the warmth of self-love and the connection with your inner child with you throughout the whole day and let the light of self-love continue to shine within you.
There are many ways to keep the feeling of self-love alive.
Throughout the day,
You can gently place a hand on your heart and take a deep breath.
You can look in the mirror and offer yourself a kind smile.
Or you can silently repeat your affirmations,
I'm loved,
I'm worthy,
I'm safe.
Remember,
You are always worthy of love and compassion,
Both from yourself and from others.
Connecting with your inner child can be a deeply moving experience.
If this meditation sparked your interest,
Consider exploring it deeply with a psychosomatic specialist to further nurture this connection and unlock the transformative power of inner child work.
Enjoy the feelings and emotions you cultivated within you today,
And I will see you next time.
Bye.
