This is a recording of the Creative Exercise from the 'Daily Mindfulness with Diana Mirs' live event, designed to immediately unlock your intuition through freewriting. This short guided practice uses powerful prompts to help you focus on self-compassion and self-worth, essential ingredients for true creative flow. You will be guided to reflect on your daily self-talk, noticing the tone of your inner critic versus moments of kindness. This exercise encourages you to use your embodiment and sensory awareness to transform self-judgment into gentle support, just as you would for a dear friend. By focusing on the process over the outcome, you will access a deeper creative state. I invite you to check the "Daily Mindfulness with Diana Mirs" playlist for the recording of other events and guided meditations from this series.

Hello,

Hello my friends.

My name is Diana.

I am a MindBodyConnection coach and a meditation teacher.

Let's move to our creative exercise.

So this exercise will be free writing,

One of my favorite ones.

I'm journaling myself in different styles every single day.

It helps not only to widen the perspectives,

To open up the mind,

But also to enhance the MindBodyConnection to bring myself back to the present moment.

For this exercise you may need a pen and paper.

I strongly encourage you guys to practice it,

Writing it down with your hand if it is possible.

If not,

You may take notes in your cell phone or computer,

Any digital form,

Or even mentally just reflecting on the questions and prompts that I will be giving you.

This exercise should take about five minutes,

Very quick,

Just to help you tune into that creative state a bit deeper.

Let's just reflect on your day,

Whether it was today or yesterday,

And remember were you kind to yourself today.

Think of some specific moments that occur in your mind now.

Did you acknowledge your efforts,

Even small and tiny ones,

Or the moments where you offered yourself words of encouragement when facing challenges?

Did you allow yourself rest when you needed it?

And the answers to these questions shouldn't be all positive.

If some or even most of the answers is no,

Or you are not feeling satisfied with your answers,

It's completely okay.

It is life,

It is our experience,

We are all humans.

Approach it with a non-judgmental state of mind.

Simply writing down or taking a mental note of what comes to you.

And if you have noticed the opposite,

Perhaps the times or moments when you were critical or harsh with yourself,

Realize what triggered those moments.

Perhaps what sensations were associated with this kind of self-criticism or negative inner talk.

Might have been tension or tightness,

Physical sensations of anxiety in your chest or belly.

And if nothing specific comes to your mind that is absolutely fine.

The answer is already in the question.

And looking ahead,

What could you do differently tomorrow to show yourself more compassion?

What small acts of kindness could you offer yourself?

Maybe you could speak to yourself with more gentleness or prioritize your needs without feeling guilty.

Could you acknowledge your worthiness regardless of your accomplishments?

This free writing on our topic,

The answers that you perhaps came up for yourself with will be a great support for you in the future.

And with regular practice,

Being mindful about this kind of moments,

It will be easier to tap into that creative state and support yourself no matter what.

This exercise is a glimpse into how we can use embodiment to unlock creativity.

And in coaching,

We delve deeper using sensory awareness,

Movement,

Mindfulness practices to access unique creative pathways that are totally personal to each one of us.

Please,

Guys,

Let me know your experience with this creative exercise,

Whether you had a chance to write it down or to simply reflect about it in your mind,

How you felt during this exercise,

Or perhaps what insights or realizations you got from it.

I will give you a couple of moments to share that in the comment section.

And if you didn't have a chance to practice it all together right now,

Do you think this kind of exercise might be helpful for you in the future?

May it help you access the creative state?

Are you willing to give this exercise a chance?

Make sure to follow my page here.

I want once again to thank all of you guys.

Have a great day ahead and see you later.

Bye.
