Watching, observing, witnessing...many names to you becoming aware of yourself. If you have a problem and you become self-aware, that self-awareness is the solution. Not that in that awareness there is something else as a solution. Awareness itself is the solution. Namaste Sanyasa family and everyone.

A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,

Dhyana Se.

We are meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

A doctor,

A very well-known historian,

An eminent professor,

He went to a new village.

He moved to a new village.

In that village,

While he was living in his early days,

One postman,

He got curious about him.

He always wondered,

What is this doctor of?

What is,

Who is this doctor?

So he went to this person,

He asked,

You seem to be a doctor,

You have doctor in your title written at your door,

What kind of a doctor are you?

The man said,

I am the doctor of philosophy.

The postman,

He got surprised,

He scratched his head.

He said,

Doctor of Philosophy?

Philosophy?

What kind of a disease is philosophy?

We don't have this disease in this village.

Philosophy is a disease.

You may laugh about it.

You may resonate to it.

But if I say religion is a disease,

You will be slightly offended.

You may identify with some or the other religion.

You may be offended.

But if I say science is also a disease,

You will be certainly offended.

See that all these forms of knowledge,

Religion,

Science,

Philosophy,

This underlying pursuit of knowledge is the disease.

This disease that we carry in some or the other form,

Where we want to grab hold onto knowledge.

Where we attempt to have this knowledge of life in the form of science,

In the form of religion,

In the form of philosophy.

We are trying hard to grab hold of life in knowledge.

And in that attempt,

What happens is we grab hold of something so tiny as compared to the vast.

In the choice of grabbing hold of the knowledge,

We lose the unknown.

We lose the vastness of this life.

And we are grabbing hold onto something so small.

These sessions of Tantra,

These sessions of spiritual contemplation are not about gathering any knowledge.

There is no knowledge,

No teaching that is imparted in these sessions.

All that is done here is to take you from that tiny knowledge that you are holding onto to letting go of that knowledge to once again be a part of the unknown.

To give you that courage,

To give you that movement from the known to the unknown.

From the knowledge that you are holding onto and somehow trying to map everything that is happening in your life with that knowledge to letting go of that knowledge and being in the unknown,

Resting in the unknown,

Being,

Coming to terms with the unknown,

Learning how to be in the unknown is what also meditation is.

But you keep on grabbing hold,

Grabbing holding onto some knowledge,

Some learning that you have.

You must have heard this famous anecdote where a professor,

A very famous professor,

He went to a meditation master.

He organized a meeting.

He went to that master.

He said,

I am the professor of this Ivy League university.

I have 50 books published on my name.

I have so much knowledge.

I have so many followers,

So many students that respect me for the contribution that I have done in the field of knowledge.

Now I want to learn and have the knowledge of meditation.

The master said,

Okay,

I will give you that knowledge.

Let us first of all have some tea.

He put both the cups.

He started pouring on the tea in that professor's cup.

And as they were talking,

As the professor was talking,

He kept on pouring more and more tea.

Up to a point where the glass was completely full and the master kept on pouring the tea.

Professor was watching.

He was saying,

What are you doing here?

This you're spilling all the tea.

You should stop.

And the professor,

He,

While he was all surprised by what was happening,

The master said,

This is how you are as well.

I cannot teach you because you're completely full of all the learnings that you have.

You have to learn to first of all empty yourself.

Only then I can teach you what meditation is.

In fact,

Meditation is not even a question of having that empty cup,

That empty glass.

It is having absolutely no container at all.

It is absolutely being in the unknown.

It is going to the ocean and taking a dive into the ocean,

Not trying to grab hold of the ocean in any form at all.

This is what meditation is to be in the unknown,

To learn to rest in the unknown.

You may have known meditation as concentration,

As something,

As an attempt to focus on something,

To bring your awareness to one particular thing.

That process of concentration once again generates knowledge.

It generates knowledge of something on which the concentration is put.

Meditation is exactly the opposite.

Meditation is not concentration at all.

It may go via concentration because your mind is so scattered,

So all over the place that you require some form of concentration to first of all come to terms with the distractions that are there in you and then learning and moving towards resting in something that is opposite to concentration.

That is absolutely opposite direction of concentration.

It is expansion.

It is resting in the unknown.

Resting in absolutely nothing in emptiness.

So as you go through this journey of meditation,

This journey of tantra with me,

See that you learn to be in rest in the unknown.

In not grabbing hold of any teaching,

In not grabbing hold of any philosophy,

Of any science,

Any religion,

Any philosophy,

Any knowledge whatsoever,

All you do is rest in the unknown.

Rest in yourself.

In that rest you discover your truth.

In that rest your consciousness expands,

Your energies are liberated.

All techniques that are there in Vigyan Bhairav Tantra,

Even if they go via concentration,

They will always end up in this expansion,

In this liberation,

Allowing you to be in the unknown of life,

Allowing you to drop all forms of knowledge and simply sit in silence,

Simply sitting in awareness.

Let us go through the technique of today which Bhairava has given in Vigyan Bhairav Tantra and practice this,

Bring this into our own experience.

When in lust,

Anger,

Greed,

Infatuation,

Pride,

Jealousy,

Watch the underlying tatva or essence and move closer to reality.

Let me repeat.

When in lust,

Anger,

Greed,

Infatuation,

Pride,

Jealousy,

Watch the underlying tatva or essence and move closer to reality.

To all these things that you experience that rise in you,

The anger,

The jealousy,

The lust and so on,

There is a philosophy that tells you what to do,

There is a religion that tells you how to suppress that and not to have that,

There is a science that would try to attempt to somehow control that in you through training of the mind or something similar but tantra is not about control,

Tantra is not about teaching.

Tantra says simply watch,

Do not even judge,

Do not control,

Do not try to put this in any category,

Do not even say this is something that is bad or good in life or what you are experiencing lust,

Anger,

Jealousy,

All these things take them as an opportunity to learn,

To learn about yourself,

To learn about your energies and how to do that is to simply watch.

Watching from a restful state,

Watching in a meditative state where you are not concentrating on anything,

Where you are not trying to derive any knowledge out of anything,

While you are observing yourself,

While you are observing your inner space,

While you are observing the contents of your consciousness in the moments of meditation,

You have to be in that restful awareness,

In a state of being in rest in the unknown.

From that rest arises this watchfulness and as you watch all what is rising in you,

All what is falling in you,

You learn about your reality,

You learn the nature of reality,

The truth that you carry in you.

So these opportunities of lust,

Anger,

Greed,

Infatuation,

Pride,

Jealousy,

What tantra is saying is as you watch,

You see that underneath all these situations there is energy,

There is a rise and fall of this energy,

Learn to recognize this energy and eventually be it lust or love,

Be it jealousy or empathy or any positive negative emotion that rises and falls in you,

Underneath that is energy.

And all you have to do is watch this energy rising and falling in you.

In that watching,

In that being aware is a spontaneity that arises in you,

Is the wisdom that arises in you that allows you to do the right thing in the moment.

Your emotions,

Your thoughts are not to be controlled,

Are not to be managed,

Are not to be trained,

But simply watched.

Because they are happening on another plane and the real problem or the real action is happening on another level.

You are trying to solve the problem on the level of the mind if you are trying to control your thoughts,

If you are trying to control and manage your emotions,

If you are trying and attempting to hold on to these emotions and suppress these emotions,

That is happening on one level and the reality is the underneath,

The energy is happening on another level.

So you have to watch,

Not the surface,

Not the rationalization,

Not the words,

Not the control of this level where thoughts and emotions arise,

But rather the underneath which is the energy.

Being in awareness of the energy,

Being in awareness of the rise and fall of this energy that is there happening in you all the time.

In moments where there are these situations of anger,

Where there are these moments of jealousy,

Moments of lust,

The energy is rising,

It goes beyond the mind and in those moments with the mind you can never control those rise and fall of energies.

So as you observe these rising and falling of energies in you,

You see that it is all a play of energies and in that awareness,

That awareness in itself becomes a solution,

That awareness in itself becomes the teaching of what to do,

How to be in those moments without any commandments,

Without any trainings,

Without any guidance.

So simply sit in silence,

In awareness and watch what rises and falls in you and in that process there is a solution,

In that process there is a spontaneity,

There is a wisdom that arises in you which operates out of your truth,

You know what to do in the situation.

Let us practice this restful watching of rise and fall of whatever arises in our consciousness in the next minutes,

Sitting and learning to be in the unknown,

To be in absolute expansion and liberation.

Please close your eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.

With your body finding a restful posture.

Let VMwareJet develop you yourself then you must T awareness turning inwards and observing whatever arises in your consciousness simply observing,

Watching your inner space not trying to concentrate,

Resting in awareness observing,

Watching whatever arises in your inner space what remains.

.

As you observe your inner space resting into the unknown.

.

.

Not trying to hold onto anything.

.

Resting in the unknown and watching,

Observing your inner space.

.

.

.

.

As you rest and observe.

.

.

.

Something rises in your inner space.

.

See that as energy rising and falling back.

.

.

.

.

All sensations,

Movements in your inner space as energy.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

No knowledge,

No pursuit.

.

.

Simply resting in the unknown.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

And very gently and slowly.

You may open your eyes.

You remain rested in the unknown.

As your mind,

Your awareness moves towards the known once again,

You remaining rested in the unknown.

If you wish to move along with me and with other meditators on this path of truth,

On this path of silence,

Of awareness of being once again in the unknown,

Of resting in the unknown.

If that is your calling,

Please write me an email to apply with your introduction,

With your interest in our community and what would you like to give back to the community.

Thank you very much.

Namaste.
