Remain close to anything that keeps you inspired. It could be any person - a guru, master, teacher, friend, etc, who pushes your mind to go beyond the set logic, the heart to open up to love and compassion, and the spirit to rise up. On the path of perfecting meditation and exploring spirituality, remain inspired. Atisha says: -Acquire the three parts of the principle cause -Don't allow three things to diminish -Make the three inseparable

Namaste and a very warm welcome to all of you in this daily morning live meditation session with me the answer spirituality is like sexuality you can condemn it but you cannot deny it you may not be ready for it but one day you will be ready for it you may not know how to go about it but once you learn how to go about it it brings tremendous bliss it takes away the miseries of life the root of both sexuality and spirituality is your natural being so you cannot deny it you have to learn to utilize it for the bliss of life for the experience of life in these sessions in these spiritual contemplations and meditative silence we take one step further in unfolding spirituality for us in our life so that what the hidden bliss that it contains is revealed is it's coming out in our life and it becomes a source a stable backbone for going through life and the journey which we call as life in this world currently we are on point number seven of a tisha's mind training which is a part of buddhistic practice called lojong on this seventh point on this last point of a tisha's mind training it's all about perfection it's about perfecting the training of mind perfecting the training of meditation taking this meditation to one's life and let it be a part of 24-7 let it be a part of the entire life the sutras for today let me go through them before we sit in silence acquire the three parts of the principal cause don't allow three things to diminish make the three inseparable first of all i admire the fascination of attisha with three if you see everywhere he comes up with three aspects three facets three points to do three points to not do and i can understand attisha's fascination with three because he was trained by three masters and that is why in his mind in his teachings he puts always three pillars to everything when he says acquire the three parts of the principal cause what are the principal causes or three parts of the principal cause let me give you the buddhistic version of it because this training is a part of buddhistic tradition and then what can this mean to our daily life the buddhistic version of this is buddham sharanam gachami sangam sharanam gachami dhammam sharanam gachami what that means is the principal cause is to be close to buddha to have buddha as the source of the cause of awareness of the cause of meditation of the cause of spirituality in you please understand that when they say buddha it means anybody a teacher a master a guru a guide a friend anybody anybody who ignites the light of spirituality in you please see that this has to be acquired from the outside unlike sexuality which when the time is ready it unfolds by itself and you somehow go through it throughout your life without training with spirituality it arises in your life but when you don't know how to manage it when you don't know what to do with it how to unfold it it becomes always an undercurrent which remains a question what to do what is this I don't understand why am I here in this life what is this life what is my purpose and all these spiritual seeds they never unfold in you and for that you need an external inspiration an external acquisition from the outside a buddha a guide a teacher a guru a master anybody who brings this to you who takes his light and lights up your candle who breaks your spiritual virginity that is needed for the spiritual growth for the unfoldment of spirituality that is there new second is sangam sharnam gachami which is to have a set of people a like-minded people a group with which you can talk you can relate you can share your spirituality your truth and you don't have to pretend all the time you don't have to put up a face which you normally would have when you are at work when you are in different aspects of societal roles a group a set of people a family friends a set of people with whom you can just be with whom you can be natural with whom you can be spiritual in your true self third dhamma sharnam gachami means the ultimate law means the ultimate truth truth the ultimate law when that strikes you that opens up your awareness that opens up the truth that opens up spirituality in you and from there on you move on to the path of spirituality so these three are the buddhistic versions of what creates awareness in you what strikes the ray of awareness in your being and lights up your being what I would say in the practicalities of our life and the lifestyle that we have in these parts of the world anything anybody who who inspires you who brings this inspiration this light to your mind to your heart and to your spirit anybody who ignites the mind meaning taking you beyond the logic anybody who unfolds the heart who opens up your heart to more love to more compassion and anybody who ignites the energy of your spirit who inspires your spirit to come out and to live your true being anybody anything any situation it does not matter one or more who touch these three your mind your heart and your spirit these are the three to be acquired these are the three to be preserved and make sure that you don't let them diminish in your life that is what atisha is saying in these sutras and the last make them inseparable from your virtue what does that mean integrate what you get when you get inspired in the mind when your heart opens up when your energies rise up in your spirit integrate the three make them inseparable in your actions don't act for some actions out of only your mind and for some only out of your heart and only some out of your deeper truth integrate the three take all of these three together in every act that you do in every moment that you live in every moment live with the full potential of the mind with the full potential of the heart with the full potential of your spirit meditation as a practice is that space where you let your mind open up where you go beyond your own logic in which you're trapped it's a space in which your heart opens up and love and compassion which you carry in you is unfolding is spreading first of all to you and then like a fragrance to everyone around you and to the whole world and the space in which your spirit is triggered your spirit is inspired it wakes up and when your spirit wakes up everything starts happening on its own effortlessly you don't have to set anything with your mind with your heart your spirit takes over and the entire system of mind heart and spirit are integrated in everything that you do with that let us move into meditation into silence for the next minutes for today's meditation we will first of all go part by part bringing our awareness to the mind bringing our awareness to the heart and the awareness to our inner depths our core our spirit and then as the last phase bring all of them together as one and create in silence and awareness for us which is integrated with mind heart and our spirit let us close our eyes take a sitting posture that is comfortable with the back upright head straight shoulders down face relaxed take a nice deep breath inhale from the nose and exhale from the nose letting go of your body allowing it to settle allowing your mind to settle you you you you awareness inwards towards your mind silently witnessing your mind allowing the thoughts in a chatter to come to rest you with every breath silently observe your mind you Notice a constant logic The mind is following Allow that to come to rest Allow this inner chatter to come to rest Allow this inner chatter to come to rest Allow this inner chatter to come to rest Allow this inner chatter to come to rest Shift your awareness down to your heart region From the mind down to your heart Notice your feelings Your emotions in this moment Feel a sense of silence in your heart A sense of peace,
Love,
Compassion Whatever feeling you have in this moment in your heart Become aware of your heart As everything settles in you,
There is stillness There is more silence and awareness Allow yourself to go deeper,
In your deepest core,
In your spirit Feel the sensations,
Feel the energy,
Feel the aliveness Remain aware Remain aware of your energies,
Of your inner sensations Not in your body,
Not in your mind,
But in your deepest core Allow this silent energy To also become part of your heart To rise up to your heart,
To your mind As you sit in silence and awareness as one organic unity As you sit in silence and awareness as one organic unity Awareness of yourself from core to the surface From your spirit to your heart,
To your mind,
To your body Of the totality Now leave all effort,
Leave any focus And simply stay silent and aware for the next minutes If you wish to stay longer,
Keep your eyes closed Remain silent and aware of nothing in particular Simply silent witnessing,
Silent awareness for the next minutes Or very gently and slowly,
You may open your eyes Maintaining this inner centeredness,
Silence,
Awareness In oneness between your mind,
Heart and spirit Take this inseparable aspect to your daily life,
To your every action that you do in your day I will see you tomorrow at 7 am Central European Time Namaste
