A mantra about fear: 'Shante prashante sarva bhaya upasha mani swaha' Meaning: Invoking supreme peace. I surrender the quality of fear to its source in the higher and formless Universal mind. You will find a short talk before and after the 108 repetition of this mantra. This is not the easiest mantra to chant, our Western tongue is not used to the Sanskrit words and you also need some time to digest the melody. Just listen to it a few times, you will learn by that and find yourself chanting along over time. This mantra is pretty quick. You can use a mala with 108 beads and count yourself, in your own pace. Or just wait until it is familiar enough to chant along. This mantra is also uploaded without the guidance. There is also a version available of this mantra without the guidance, just a 108 repetition of the mantra. Join Nada Brahma Satsang IT to learn about mantras.

Namaste,

This is Deva Vasudha.

Welcome to the exploration of a mantra about fear.

It is a mantra that asks that the energy pattern of fear be released back into the universal mind and energy,

So that the energy may be returned to the chanter in a way that it can be used productively.

The words to do so for this mantra are Shanteprasante sarvabhaya upashamani svaha.

With this mantra you create a basic security.

Once the basic security needs in life have taken care of,

The mind starts to think about other things.

So it's a great mantra to get your mind used to new patterns of thinking.

Well let us just start by chanting it 108 times.

I will count for you,

So you don't have to mind the counting.

I will repeat the mantra for you a few times,

Because it has a lot of words that our western tongue is not used to.

So here we go.

Shanteprasante sarvabhaya upashamani svaha.

Shanteprasante sarvabhaya upashamani svaha.

If it will take some time to learn words,

It's okay.

Your mind will get used to it.

Take your time.

You can listen to it at first and later on chant along.

So now take a deep breath.

In and out.

Make sure you are sitting in a comfortable position,

But with your back and your spine straight.

Now let us chant together.

Namaste.

Shanteprasante sarvabhaya upashamani svaha.

Take a deep breath and feel how you're back in the room again.

And contemplate a little bit more on the mantra you just chanted.

You know,

We think with energy.

Whatever you are thinking,

Your energy is shaped with it.

Energy and mind move together.

If you have thoughts of fear about yourself,

You become that fear.

If you have thoughts of fear about someone else,

You become that fear as well.

Because your body does not know that it's about someone else.

If you fear others,

But love yourself,

Well,

There's no such thing.

Every thought is connected with yourself,

Your self-image,

Through the medium of your energy body.

So,

Breathe in this mantra to break through this habit,

To get a new thought pattern,

To heal with this loving mantra,

To feel that fear is not your enemy.

You can embrace fear from a place of inner security and harness its creative potential.

Have a beautiful day,

Evening or night.

All blessings to you.

Namaste.

Altough it went prettig fast, I could follow quite easy. Why 108 times? Would know that. Really love the thought behind this meditation. Using it very often now without the guidance. Thank you for this one!🙏🙏
