Comfort In Distress | John 16:33

How to you comfort someone with recent loss or tragedy? Here are some thoughtful words and a Meditation through grief. John 16:33: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16 33, The Amplified Bible I have told you these things so that in me you may find peace, Perfect peace. In the world you will have tribulation and distress and suffering. Be courageous, Be confident, Be undaunted. I have overcome the world. My conquest is accomplished. My victory is abiding. A prayer for those devastated by recent tragedies. Lord, We pray for those who have been devastated by the recent tragedies. We remember those who have lost their lives so suddenly. We hold in our hearts the families forever changed by grief and loss. Bring them consolation and comfort. Surround them with our prayers for strength. Bless them who have survived and heal their memories of the trauma and devastation. May they have the courage to face the days ahead. Help us to respond with generosity and prayer and assistance and comfort to the best of our abilities. Keep our hearts focused on the needs of all the community. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. John 16 33 I have told you these things so that in me you may find peace. In the world you will have tribulation and distress and suffering. Be courageous. I have overcome the world.
