Reiki and meditation.
First let's acknowledge the practice of Reiki.
Make sure that you are in a comfortable seat or laying down.
Reiki is a traditional Japanese healing practice.
Meditation is the practice of mindfulness.
Combining these two creates the element of healing.
As you begin to find the position that you're taking for this practice,
Close the eyes.
Say these next words with me out loud.
I am entering my sacred practice of Reiki and meditation.
Yes,
I am open to receiving Reiki energy.
Bring your hands to touch.
Start to move the hands,
Feeling the friction between the heel of the hands and the fingertips.
Take it for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Come to a complete stop.
Softly start to move the hands away from one another.
Let the hands land at the pit of the belly.
Imagine that at the pit of the belly,
You start to receive this beautiful white light.
This white light represents cleansing,
Healing,
Connection.
Let the white light trace from the pit of the belly to your fingertips,
Tracing the thumbs,
The index fingers,
The middle fingers,
The ring fingers,
And the pinky fingers.
Allow your hands to show you the power of self-healing.
Let this white light trace from the hands to the wrist,
The forearms,
The elbows,
The tricep biceps to the top of the shoulders,
Working their way up to the sides of the neck,
The ears,
And the crown of the head.
From the crown of the head,
Your Reiki energy illuminates your physical body,
Tracing down to the right eye,
The left eye,
The bridge of the nose,
The tip of the nose,
The top lip,
The bottom lip.
Bring your tongue to touch the roof of the mouth.
Let the Reiki energy work its way towards the base of the throat,
Down to the heart.
As you're in the space of receiving healing energy,
Start to shift your hands,
One to the heart and one to the pit of the belly.
As the heart starts to receive Reiki energy,
You feel the softness,
The self-soothing as you tune in to receiving.
You are so worthy of your healing energy.
Your healing energy allows for the pores in your skin to open up,
To work their way from a skin to muscle to bone.
Notice the strength in your physical,
Emotional,
And spiritual energy.
Your body,
Your energetic body,
Starts to surrender even more to this white light.
As you find yourself in this journey,
You are worthy of healing any parts of you,
Whether known to you or unknown to you,
That need you.
Softly begin to acknowledge your spirit.
You are a spirit within this physical vessel,
In this divine timing.
By healing you,
You're allowing those that are surrounded by you to tune in to their own healing energy.
Ask at this moment that any energy that does not serve you be released with grace.
This allows any pain,
Any hurt,
Any resentment that is no longer needed to be let go with grace.
And as you invite grace to your energetic body,
You feel this floating sensation.
This floating sensation lets you enter the spaces that you no longer have to fight.
You honor the divinity within you.
And as you honor the divine within you,
Your Reiki energy starts to fire up even more.
You trust yourself more than you ever have.
That trust lets you know that you are worthy of any leaps,
That you are able to connect,
To change,
That you are able to flow.
This cuts away any cords of attachment that keep us connected to our own suffering.
And as you let go of your own suffering,
You know that in this moment you have connected to the healer within you.
The healer that lets you know that you are safe,
That you are loved,
That you are seen,
That you are heard.
Trust in your healing energy that has always been with you.
Now,
In this space,
Ask your physical body,
Your emotional body,
Your spiritual body to bring softness even more,
Let the Reiki energy be so full.
Let both of the hands return back to the pit of the belly.
Start to tune in to the sounds in your natural environment.
Say these next words with me out loud.
I am leaving my sacred space of Reiki and meditation.
I am no longer meditating.
Wiggle the toes,
The hands,
Bringing movement back into the physical body.
Take a deep inhale as you open up the eyes.
Notice how your environment has shifted.
Reach the hands up over the head.
Open them wide.
Give yourself a big hug.
