Hey,
Dear community.
Seasons are shifting and the world is shedding as we've known it.
With what's transpiring from personal to societal levels,
I've felt my spirit call for a deepening of self-nurturance and even self-protection of my energetic space and time.
With care in these transitions,
I'm offering affirmations that can facilitate the conjuring of more spaciousness and ease.
I write these because I need them.
It's medicine for my being and maybe medicine for you too.
This is an invitation for us to be mindful and honest about who and what we want to spend our energy on during these tender,
Heavy processing times.
So take a moment to get comfortable wherever you are.
And as you listen to each affirmation,
I invite you to notice what words feel resonant in your body and where you may be feeling connection or even resistance.
Be with that.
Trust that.
Allow the feelings and sensations to reveal what you need.
I am learning how to be steady in my natural rhythms and unrushed by other people's sense of urgency.
I trust myself to let go of what I need to release so that I can make intentional space for more care and pleasure.
I can access moments of ease when I remember to make it a practice to unclench my jaw and breathe.
I am neither ahead or behind.
I am moving,
Creating and growing in my own unique time.
I can cultivate support systems of care that lovingly respond to my asked for help in the ways that I need and desire.
I have the creative insight to deepen processes and tools that will allow things to flow more smoothly.
I can experience deep reservoirs of restoration by tapping into the small things that refuel me every day.
I know that when I nourish myself first,
I build the capacity to pour nourishment back in.
Exhale release.
Let those settle.
Maybe allow them to absorb.
Take what's needed and gently let go of the rest.
As an extension of these affirmations,
I offer you a ritual prompt,
Something you can practice to build a relationship with as you conjure more spaciousness and ease in your life.
You may want to pause to get your journal or some place to take note,
Or you can always come back to this whenever you need.
The invitation is to carve out a sacred space to spend at least five minutes resting in your own presence.
I invite you to start by simply noticing your breath naturally moving through your body and sending gratitude as it flows,
Helping you sustain your life from this moment to the next.
Whisper these affirmations to yourself.
The ones that resonated,
The ones that pulled you in closer,
That called you in for a more deeper reflection.
Ask yourself what's one self loving thing that will bring you spaciousness and ease throughout the day.
Just one thing and make an agreement to do that thing.
Write this ritual into your daily or weekly practice and be well.
