Mindfulness practice five,

Finding your gifts.

Find a comfortable seat.

Notice your breath.

Follow your breath for a few cycles,

Focusing on the inhale and the exhale.

Pay attention to your physical body in your seat.

Feel where your body is touching the seat.

When you're ready,

Focus on what you might consider the gifts you have that you are either born with or learned along the way.

What are your unique strengths and talents?

Perhaps you're an exceptional writer,

A chef,

Or computer technician.

What comes easy to you?

What have you always been told you do well?

What are you most proud of about yourself?

Spend some time asking these questions and listening for the answers to them.

See if you can come up with at least one,

If not ten,

Things you would consider your gifts,

What you bring to the table,

What you have to offer the world.

You you When you are ready,

Bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Focus on your breath for a few more inhales and exhales.

Feel your body in your seat and slowly stretch your body however it feels it needs to stretch.

Welcome back.

Feel free to journal now about your experience or about any idea or insights that arose for you.
