Mindfulness practice 25,

Living an inspired life.

Get comfortable in a seated position.

Breathe.

With your eyes closed or gaze down,

Focus on your inhales and exhales.

On your exhale,

Let go of any distractions that come into your awareness.

When you are ready,

Consider how you want to feel in your life as much or as often as possible.

Happy,

Joyful,

Open,

Expansive,

Inspired.

Whatever you choose,

Breathe in that feeling.

Know that that exact feeling is only one breath away at any given moment of your day.

Continue to breathe that feeling into your body for as long as you like.

When you are ready,

Consider how you want to be in your life as much or as often as possible.

How do you want to show up as you interact with others?

Not how do you want them to see you,

But rather how do you want to show up in other people's presence?

Open,

Present,

Welcoming,

With a smile.

Whatever you choose,

Breathe in that exact feeling.

As you exhale,

Immerse yourself in that state of being.

Your mindfulness practice can be as simple as remembering this feeling anytime you interact,

Or preferably before you interact with another living being.

When you are ready,

Consider what you would like to do in your life.

If there is such a thing as having a purpose or purposes in your life,

What would you like to use your gifts for?

What would it feel like to be using your gifts more often,

Perhaps to be of service to one or many people?

Breathe in that exact feeling.

Know that you have access to that option,

That purpose,

And that feeling at any time during your day.

When you are ready,

Ask yourself,

What can I shift in my life to use my gifts more often?

What can I do to infuse my life with more meaning?

What action can I take today to head in that exact direction?

What am I open to?

What is waiting to emerge?

When you are ready,

Take another deep breath and flutter your eyes open.

Let your body and take a moment to transition your focus back into the room.

Welcome back.

Feel free to journal now about your experience or about any ideas or insights that arose for you.
