Hello and welcome,

My name is Payam.

Please take a moment and make yourself comfortable.

When you are ready,

Gently close your eyes if that feels right for you.

Let your body relax and notice your breathing.

Whatever position your body is in right now,

Notice what supports your body.

Just take your time and become aware of the surface area that meets your body and supports it.

Our body loves to feel supported.

Please welcome this felt sense of comfort as you are listening to my voice.

In case you are experiencing challenging times right now,

You might find our time together helpful.

The focus of this practice is to remind you that you have a right to heal.

To remind you that you deserve support and compassion.

You know,

Suffering,

Trauma,

Heartbreak and loss are all facts of life.

Many people who are on this platform right now might be dealing with painful situations.

We can all connect through our need for love and compassion.

Such a connection can help us feel less alone.

Continue to be mindful of your breathing while you are listening to my voice.

Your pain matters and deserves empathy.

It is important to slow down and appreciate your attempt to take care of yourself right now.

It takes courage to deal with life's challenges.

Whatever situation is causing your pain,

You can take refuge in the love that is within you.

Love and kindness are more possible than your past betrayals and losses want you to believe.

Your heart is a container for love and this love is available to you.

If it feels right,

You can give yourself a hug right now with the intention to let yourself feel some of the love that is always within you.

Allow yourself to love yourself.

Stay with this experience as long as it helps.

Self-hugging is one of the ways that you might be able to embrace love and kindness.

It is also possible that you might not feel much of anything right now,

Or you might be too upset to feel anything good.

No need to judge this experience.

No need to pressure yourself to feel or do anything.

You can just be.

Taking the time and doing this practice right now is good enough.

It shows how much you care about yourself.

It helps affirm your lovable.

Let's breathe in by saying I am and breathe out by saying lovable.

I am breathing,

Lovable breathe out.

Let's slow it down one more time.

I am breathing,

Lovable breathe out.

Sometimes people feel so overwhelmed that they can forget about their self-care tools.

It is okay to use your tools of healing.

It is okay to reach out and ask for support.

You don't have to face your painful circumstances alone.

Healing involves connecting to kind people who can help you feel safe and supported.

You deserve such a connection.

Gently remind yourself that you don't have to be a prisoner of your life's painful moments.

Let's take a minute and one more time appreciate you for taking time and focusing on yourself.

As this practice comes to an end,

Allow yourself to take a deep breath and let out anything that is not serving you.

Let out all your worries.

And now please gently bring yourself back into the room.

Notice the sounds around you.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.

I hope you found our time together helpful.

Feel free to listen to this track as often as you need.

Wishing you inner peace.

Be well.
