It might be the chair,
The bed or the floor beneath you that physically is supporting you right now.
Just take your time and become aware of the surface area that meets your body and supports you.
You can make yourself more comfortable as you are noticing the supportive surface.
Allow yourself to welcome this felt sense of comfort.
The body likes to feel supported and comfortable.
Allow yourself to breathe deeper while you are mindful of the support.
Whatever surface supports you right now is connected to the earth.
You are always scared by the earth.
Let this simple awareness help you to feel more connected to the earth.
As you are going through your day,
Get to the habit of noticing that you are in constant support of whatever surface meets your body.
Your office chair,
The couch,
The bed,
The ground you are walking on are all examples of supportive surfaces.
You can adjust how you sit or stand to help yourself feel more supported and at ease.
The physical support can become emotionally uplifting when you take a moment and embrace this bodily felt experience.
The awareness of feeling supported and at ease can help your nervous system to relax.
