Hello and welcome.
In case you're dealing with loss or heartbreaking event,
I hope you find the following helpful.
Take a moment and make yourself comfortable.
When you are ready,
Gently close your eyes and become aware of your breathing.
Just relax and notice your breath coming in and coming out.
As you know,
Life can involve difficult times.
Heartbreak is a fact of life.
You need to be mindful of your breathing while you're listening to my voice.
Notice the rise and the fall of your abdomen.
A virus of breath brings you to the present moment.
You're not connected to a community of people who are meditating.
Many of them are not reflecting on their challenging moments.
If you have a broken heart,
You're not alone in your experience.
Having a broken heart can be emotionally painful.
No need to judge your experience.
It is important to give yourself permission to grieve for any kind of loss you might be experiencing.
Grief is a natural response to loss or heartbreak.
Here is a deeper part of you that has your best interest in heart.
This part like a loving friend can help you during challenging times.
Let's try to contact this part of yourself by gently placing the palm of your hand on your upper chest or heart space.
You can place your other hand on your belly if that feels more comfortable.
Take a moment and notice the contact between the palm of your hand and your heart space.
Notice what feelings or body sensations might be coming up as you attempt to make connection with this deeper loving part of yourself.
You might notice you're feeling calmer or breathing more deeply.
Just be open to whatever might be coming up.
You can contact this deeper soulful part of yourself anytime you wish.
Your intention to relate your pain from a caring and deeper part of yourself can transform your heartbreak into a heartfelt experience.
Sometimes at the start of your healing journey you might have difficulty becoming vulnerable again or you might find it harder to connect with your caring part.
Gently remind yourself that you don't have to be prisoner of your life's painful moments.
Heartbreak is not a present sentence.
It is one more chapter in the book of your life.
You can co-write the book of your life with the soulful part of yourself that has your best interest in heart.
You can affirm that love and kindness are more possible than your past betrayals and losses want you to believe.
Part of the healing process involves letting yourself feel safe again,
Letting yourself to connect with others.
No matter what situation caused your heartbreak,
You have a right to heal from it.
Heartbreak expands your heart when your healing journey involves having empathy and compassion for yourself.
Your heart expands even bigger when you let your own heartbreak become a source of compassion toward other people's pain.
Again there is a deeper part of you that knows how to be there for you and others when it comes to life's painful moments.
You can contact this deeper soulful part of yourself by connecting with your heart space.
This connection can help you feel less alone when you face overwhelming challenges.
This connection can turn your heart into a container for love and kindness.
Now take a deep breath and gently let it all out.
As this practice coming to an end,
Let's take a minute or two and give yourself a loving hug.
A self-hugging practice is one of the ways you can be kind to yourself.
And now gently bring yourself back into the room.
Notice the sounds around you.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Breathe out.
Take a deep breath.
