Take a moment to settle into your body,
Whether you are seated or lying down,
Allow yourself to soften.
Gently close your eyes,
Let your breath arrive just as it is,
Without needing to change anything yet.
Feel the weight of your body being held by the earth.
Now begin to breathe a little slower,
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth with a soft sigh,
And if it feels comforting,
Place one hand over your heart and one over your belly.
Feel the subtle movement of your body as you breathe,
The warmth beneath your palms.
Inhaling again and gently sighing on your exhale.
Now imagine a soft golden thread or root extending from the base of your spine and gently descending downward through the floor,
Into the soil,
And deep into the earth,
Until it reaches the warm glowing heart of our planet.
Notice how you don't have to try to make this connection,
You are simply remembering something that has always been there.
Let earth's steady rhythm beat your own,
Her heartbeat and yours,
Finding each other again.
Let your body feel safe,
Let yourself be held,
Enjoy this feeling for a moment.
Keeping that golden root anchored with ease,
Bring your awareness to the soft space above the crown of your head,
A gentle opening,
Like the petals of a flower unfurling.
And with your breath,
Allow your awareness to rise slowly upward,
Through the ceiling,
Into the sky,
Above the clouds,
Continuing up until you are resting in the open stillness of space.
You are weightless,
Held in a quiet that is truly ancient.
And before you is the earth,
Turning,
Breathing,
Alive.
As you take in the view,
You notice soft waves move across her surface,
These are pulse lines,
Energetic ripples created by emotion,
Healing,
And change happening on the surface.
Joy might send a shimmer,
Grief maybe looks like a deep rolling tide,
Hope glides like a golden shooting star.
Watch how these pulses do not stop at the edge of the atmosphere,
But ripple outward into space,
Flowing across the cosmic field.
The earth is not isolated,
She is in conversation with the universe.
Every prayer,
Song,
Storm,
Birth,
And breath is felt far beyond this world.
Though you may feel like you are observing from the outside,
You aren't,
You are witnessing from within the great conversation of the cosmos.
Simply be here,
Soft,
Open,
Present.
After a few moments,
You feel a gentle pull guiding you back to the earth,
You are being brought to a place where your presence is needed.
Just notice where you arrive,
And when you feel the ground beneath you,
Take some time to notice your surroundings.
What do you see,
What do you hear,
What do you feel?
Maybe you know this place,
Or maybe it's completely unknown to you.
Wherever you are,
You are exactly where Gaia needs you,
And you are safe.
Take a moment to simply be here.
Now bring your awareness to your heart space.
A soft,
Living light begins to form there,
It's warm,
Fluid,
And alive,
Not a still or solid light,
But something plasma-like,
Gently moving.
Allow this living light to move into your hands,
And let your breath guide it there.
Inhale,
The light softly expands,
And exhale,
The light travels down your arms,
And settles into the palms of your hands.
Inhaling again,
Softly expanding,
And exhaling,
The light traveling through your arms into your palms.
Let it rest in your hands for a moment,
And if it feels natural,
You may move them slightly,
A small,
Gentle motion.
Notice how the light responds to the movement,
How its presence becomes a little more felt,
Perhaps warm or spacious,
And as it moves,
Notice the tone it gives off.
Not a sound heard by the ears,
But a resonance felt in the body,
A soft,
Musical hum that is yours alone.
This is your frequency,
Your natural tone,
Steady,
Unbroken,
And always yours.
Stay here for a moment,
Enjoying your natural frequency.
How does it feel?
What does it make you remember?
When the time is right,
You may begin to sense where the Earth is calling for this light tone,
A spot beneath you,
Or beside you,
Or simply in the space around you.
There is no need to choose,
Just allow yourself to feel the place that wants to receive,
And when you are ready,
Offer your light to the space that calls for it,
Whispering aloud or to yourself,
May this place find remembrance,
May this land remember harmony,
May the Earth remember her original song,
May all who hear this tone remember their own light,
And now the light you've placed here will move with the Earth,
When the ground shifts,
When the waters rise,
When voices cry out,
When hearts open,
Your tone will travel through those movements,
Not as force,
But as a gentle remembering and quiet healing.
Whenever the Earth stirs,
Your light will stir with her,
Reaching those here and those far beyond,
And now that your light has been anchored,
You begin to sense others across the Earth who are also placing light in the land.
You may see or sense gentle points of light glowing across the globe,
Each one pulsing like a heartbeat,
You may even hear other tones resonating.
These points begin to connect,
Forming a living web of remembrance around you.
You are not doing this alone,
Let your heart expand in gratitude for all who walk this path beside you,
Seen and unseen,
Human and beyond.
Take a few quiet breaths right here where you are,
Still within this field of remembrance,
And still with the Earth.
Your light anchor remains where you placed it,
It will stay there for as long as you choose.
You can return to it at any time,
To listen,
To tend,
To strengthen,
Or simply rest with it.
And if another place calls for this light in the future,
You will know,
The Earth will show you.
And as we begin to journey back,
I want you to bring awareness to your root,
The golden thread that connected you to the Earth.
The light anchor stays where it is,
But your life force returns to you.
And with your next breath,
Invite your energy,
Your presence,
To gently return to your body,
Gathering inward,
Like warmth returning to the center of the chest,
Visualize the golden thread drawing back into your spine,
Softly and comfortably,
Until your energy is fully in your own body again.
Feel yourself here,
Whole,
And present.
Now begin to sense your physical form,
Your breath,
Your weight,
Your feet and hands,
Your spine,
And jaw.
Invite small movements,
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
Roll your shoulders,
And soften your face.
Maybe let a gentle smile cross your lips,
Because you know that you have not left the sacred,
And now lives more fully within you.
And when it feels natural,
You may slowly open your eyes.
