This meditation is a calming, 25-minute journey to set a clear, heart-centered intention for the upcoming year. You’ll begin by settling into a comfortable position, grounding into your body, and inviting in any guides, angels, or supportive presences you connect with. Through reflection on each quarter of the past year, you’ll cultivate gratitude and surround yourself in layers of trust, safety, wisdom, and love. Guided imagery then takes you to a personal sacred space, where you connect with your guardian angel or inner wisdom to receive insight for the year ahead. The practice closes by returning to the present moment with renewed self-love, acknowledgment of your growth, and a sense of steadiness for the new year.

We're going to begin in any comfortable position that feels good for you as we settle into this meditation that is dedicated to setting an intention for the new upcoming year.

I want you to take as much time as you need,

So don't feel like you need to rush quickly into a position.

Take as much time as you possibly need to ensure that you are very comfortable.

Decide if the duration of this meditation,

About 25 minutes or so,

Maybe a little longer,

Is best in a seated position or lying down.

And also a reminder,

Don't feel like you need to be stuck in this position.

If you want to move after 15 minutes,

Then please do so.

If something becomes distracting,

Don't feel like you need to hold it and stay in that position.

As we begin this meditation,

We're going to start by inviting in those who guide us.

This could be anything that falls in line with your belief system.

Maybe it's an opportunity to invite in angels.

Maybe perhaps it's those who have passed away that are still in your life or that you still think about.

It could be even just the presence of those people that are still in your life.

It could be religious figures,

Deities,

Guides.

And if you don't know who to invite in or not even quite sure if this is working,

I want you to know that you are deeply supported and there is a crew with you,

Whether you know who they are or not.

Let's really start to embody this physical body.

And for each of us,

That might mean something completely different.

Maybe for you,

It's connecting with the breath.

Maybe it's for you,

Listening to the sound or sounds around you.

It could be even just feeling the physical body connected to the floor or a cushion or your bed.

It could be the physical sensations in the internal body.

Each of us connect to an anchor differently.

And in moments,

Sometimes we choose different anchors.

As you're here,

Really trying to set yourself in this physical body.

Coming back to the true nature of your physical body.

The steadiness,

The stillness.

The mind is always present.

Mind sometimes is sneaky and likes to pull us away.

But as we find our true selves and as we connect to our anchors,

We find that stillness and steadiness.

And then your true nature,

Centered inside of this physical body.

Connect to your heart space.

Maybe you feel called to just bring your mind there.

Maybe you're called to place the hands,

One over top of the other,

On the floor.

Maybe you're called to bring your hands on this space.

Even bringing hands to prayer,

Anjali Muthra.

And with an acknowledgment in our heart center,

We will set an intention for this practice.

The intention is to find clarity.

Find a message or guidance for our greater good in this upcoming new year.

You can even just see that intention being placed inside of your heart center.

And I want you to imagine trust wrapping around it.

The energy of trust completely encompasses this intention.

You don't need to hold on to it anymore.

Re-grounding and re-centering back into your physical body again.

You had your hands on your heart,

Maybe you just let them go.

Maybe you stay there.

Re-anchor back into your physical body.

Maybe it's the same anchor you used moments ago,

Or maybe in this present moment it's a different one.

And that trust from your heart begins to grow.

And as you encompass this body and rest in this steadiness,

Allow the body to just let go.

And you're letting go into the support of trust.

Maybe if you're seated,

You can even just see trust behind you,

Almost like a chair hugging you.

If you're lying down,

It supports you so that you can even physically let go.

Just take a moment to rest and surrender in the arms,

In the energy,

In the support of trust.

Now let's take a moment to acknowledge this past year.

From our heart space,

You'll find gratitude.

I want you to begin with the last three months,

October,

November,

And December.

Maybe there are specific moments,

Some may be good,

Some may be not good.

I want you to see this heart of trust as a reminder of what you've accomplished.

Sending forward towards those months,

Even those not-so-good moments.

You can remind yourself that you survived,

That you made it,

Even if you're still working through it.

You're here,

Just being.

And then reflecting on July,

August,

And September,

A deep heart of gratitude for those summer months.

A heart of gratitude for some experiences,

Maybe there was travel.

Maybe there was more moments outside.

Finding gratitude for those deep summer months.

Taking a step back again and reflecting on April,

May,

June.

Maybe those months get a little fuzzy.

Maybe we have some memories,

Some celebrations,

Some birthdays.

Maybe there was something special that happened.

Maybe there was something hard and challenging that you went through.

Gratitude.

Gratitude for all of those moments.

This is an acknowledgment that it's not always easy to find gratitude when it's hard.

So we're all just doing our best finding gratitude.

And then we take another step back again,

Reflecting in January,

February,

March.

It might have seemed like a lifetime ago at this point.

Maybe there's things you remember,

Maybe you don't.

A heart of gratitude as you step into that new year,

This present year.

Take a moment now to sit and feel the gratitude.

The deep energy of gratitude inside of you.

Surrounded still by that trust.

And you just surrender and let go a bit in the arms of trust.

At the center of gratitude.

And as you occupy this space,

I want you to begin to see a blue bubble floating down,

And it's going to lower down and completely surround you.

It's outside of your energy field,

Maybe you get a sense of that.

Maybe you don't.

But trusting that this blue bubble of security is surrounding you.

And then you're going to see another bubble beginning to float down.

This one's gold.

It's going to go outside of the blue bubble surrounding you.

And this golden bubble is for wisdom,

Definitive answers.

And then we'll have one more of pink.

The pink will go outside all of the other ones.

The pink bubble of unconditional love.

And in these bubbles is gratitude,

Trust,

Safety,

Wisdom,

Love.

And allow these bubbles to begin to float.

You begin to physically float.

You float upward.

Traveling above the space you occupy.

Above the town.

Above the earth.

Through space.

Through the astral plane.

You float all the way up into the sacred space.

This is your sacred safe space.

What does it look like?

Is it white?

Is it fluffy?

Is it golden?

Is it solid?

Is it a beach scene?

Is it blue?

Maybe an imagery came to you.

And if it didn't,

You get to invent your sacred safe space,

What it looks like.

And in your space,

The guardian angel begins to join you.

Maybe perhaps your guardian angel is someone you've known before.

Maybe you see it as a religious type figure.

Maybe you see it even as energy or color or shape.

And this guardian angel begins to connect to you.

And the lines of communication are cloaked and clear,

Free from debris.

And your guardian angel already knows the intention that you set.

And so just sit.

Just be.

Trust any visualizations or messages you hear.

Or just knowing.

And trust even if it's just silence,

That your intention will pop up exactly when it needs to.

And you're taking this moment.

You're not pushing for an answer or searching out.

You're still with gratitude and trust.

You're way back in the arms of trust and just being with these bubbles of safety,

Wisdom,

And love.

And just sit for another moment or so.

Knowing that you will get that message associated with what you need to know for this upcoming year.

Whatever is in support of your greater good.

Being okay with just being.

And then take a moment to send gratitude to your guardian angel.

Maybe just a head nod or an internal thank you.

Or heart of love.

Knowing that they are with you.

And beyond this sacred space.

And then still in these bubbles,

We're going to begin to float back down.

Down,

Down.

Into the space we occupy.

Take a moment to re-anchor,

Re-ground,

Re-orient.

Maybe even feeling the need to root your root chakra into the earth.

Maybe it's just a matter of connecting to the floor below you.

The bed below you.

The surface below you.

Taking this opportunity to come back to center.

Coming back to that stillness,

That place that's underneath of the busy mind.

That place that sometimes feels impossible.

But a reminder that it might just be moments throughout the day.

The more you do it,

The more you feel your true nature of center.

Your true nature of steadiness.

The person you're supposed to be.

Connecting to yourself.

Maybe again,

You feel called to place your hands in your heart center.

Or bring the hands to arms.

Or bring your Anjali mudra in front of the heart center.

You're just acknowledging.

Send love to yourself.

Acknowledge the hardships that you have gone through this year that have led you to this moment.

Acknowledge that you might still be in some hardships.

Acknowledge your capabilities.

Acknowledge all the growth that you have done thus far.

Acknowledge your positive attributes.

Those beautiful parts of yourself.

Send love to this being in this present moment exactly just the way you are.

And from my heart center to yours,

I wish you a beautiful new year.

Namaste.
