I thank you for joining me tonight or today wherever you are in your world.
Today we're going to listen to sounds and just allow ourselves to relax and to absorb the sounds and just enjoy the sensations.
Notice how you feel in your body,
Notice how you feel in your mood.
Maybe you even want to journal down how you feel before you do this meditation and then take a moment just to journal down afterwards if there was any effect,
Any positive or even negative,
Anything that came up remembering whatever shows up is a reflection of our inner world of what is going on.
So just be curious,
Allow yourself to just relax,
Pillows if you need them,
Supports.
Laying down is always a really nice way to take in the sounds as we can let go of any holding patterns or tensions that we have gathered in your day.
So allow yourself just to switch off.
We're going to start focusing with your breath.
Nice rhythmic breathing.
To be aware of your inhalation.
Take a pause and then a nice soft exhalation.
And pause.
Take an inhalation.
Pause.
Exhale.
And pause.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
And just stay focused on your breath.
There is an ending bell at the end of the sounds.
Followed by a moment of silence.
And I will gently bring you out with my voice.
So just relax,
Let go.
Enjoy your journey.
And focus on your breath.
And everyone is safe and in a normal way.
So gently invite yourself to come back into this space.
Take a moment to just reflect.
Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes and start to add a little movement back in.
Maybe you want to hug your knees into your chest or curl onto your side in a ball or even just stretch out.
Listen to your body,
How does it feel right now,
What do you need to do,
Stretch or curl up.
Then gently just bring in yourself up to a seated position.
This is a really good time to come back to your journal.
Just open your page,
Put pen to paper,
There's no right or wrong way of journaling.
You may want to just put your pen to paper and just not take your pen off and just see what comes out.
You may have something very clear that presented itself during the meditation that you want to write down.
Or maybe you just want to write a word or a couple of words of how you feel.
