Hi,
Welcome to PeaceBeam.
Let's begin.
Step one,
Notice.
Just ask yourself how you're feeling today,
How you're doing.
Check in.
Take a few moments to tune in to your heart.
See how you feel and if there's any tension that you can release,
Do that.
And just start to relax as we move to step two.
Breathe.
Connect to your breath.
Now just rest your attention gently on your in-breath and your out-breath.
Don't seek to change it,
Just watch it.
Feel the air move.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest and breathe.
And now we're going to thread your breath and your heart together.
So just imagine that your breath is moving in and out.
And out of your heart.
And that the rhythm of your heart and the rhythm of your breath are greeting each other.
And beginning to move together in a steep relaxed rhythm of yourself.
And allow yourself now to drop into that space for these few moments.
Step three,
Activate.
We spend a great deal of our days in our thoughts,
In our headspace and in our imaginations.
There is nothing really to be done about this.
It is a function of the human condition.
And there is a great deal talked about these days,
About training the mind,
Having no thoughts,
Being free from imagination.
And for some this is a very worthwhile pursuit.
For others there may be an acceptance of thought as an aspect of mind.
But perhaps there is another way to look at it.
Perhaps it's not a question of focusing on the rights and the wrongs of the mental world.
Perhaps it is an ability to identify what is real now that can act as an anchor when we need it.
And what is real now is very easy to connect to.
Smell the air.
Touch your right hand with your left hand.
Touch your nose.
Taste the taste in your mouth.
That is all real.
So just stay there.
And if a thought comes,
That's what you would expect.
Relax and just smell the air again.
Step four,
Beam.
Everyone you meet today lives in the world of their own thoughts,
Their own ideas and their own imagination.
That is the nature of it.
But when you're standing next to somebody,
When you see somebody or hear a voice,
That is what is real.
Let that be a reminder of our common humanity.
We may not share the same thoughts and the same ideas,
But we do share the real things.
The air,
The smells,
The tastes and the touches.
And let that make you smile and bless the world with your realness now.
Have a beautiful day.
