Our world is an extension of us. Everything we are and see is a reflection of ourselves. When you look in that mirror, do you like what you see? Recognizing that the world we have created for ourselves and sitting in that place of acceptance creates a knowing and peace. Relax, meditate & feel the joy.

Namaste.

Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Elman.

And another day,

Another meditation.

Yay.

So our meditation today focuses on something.

It's so interesting how life works,

Right?

So I'm just going to tell you about this mantra that I just find to be so fascinating and it's so apropos for right now in the world.

Right?

Okay.

So,

And we're going to use this as our mantra in our meditation in a few minutes,

But I want to talk about this mantra.

The mantra is Tat Zvam Asi.

Okay.

And it is a Hindu mantra.

Okay.

And what it means is,

Is that everything you see in the world is a reflection of you.

Ooh,

It's kind of heavy,

Right?

For you know,

Right now,

Right?

It's a little bit heavy.

Everything you see in the world is an extension of you.

It's your reflection.

So when you think about that,

What's so fascinating is it's true.

Every you know,

We've created our life.

We've chosen our spouse or significant other or friends or whatever,

Right?

We've on Facebook,

We are our whoever we choose to show ourselves as,

Right?

The job we have is a reflection of us.

So it's pretty amazing.

And I think that this mantra for me means,

This mantra means that we should recognize that everything we see is Brahman.

It's God.

It's universe.

And thus meaning that we are God.

So God is everywhere.

God spirit universe,

Whatever you choose to call it.

And I find that to be so fascinating.

And you know what?

It doesn't matter what religion you are.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter how you perceive that.

We are a reflection of our world.

Huge and that's really heavy.

And I get that.

I get that that's kind of heavy,

But oh my gosh,

It really brings home because here's the thing.

The reason why this came up for me is because you know,

I struggle with being a spiritual being and having an opinion about things.

And you know what I'm talking about,

Right?

You can have an opinion about anything,

Right?

But we are human beings and so we are allowed to have thoughts and opinions about stuff and it's not going to match to everybody.

You know,

That's honestly,

I don't mean to get sidetracked here,

But that's kind of what I love about mediumship and what I've developed my gifts because the reality is,

Is that mediumship,

If you vibe with me,

Then you come to me and I'll give you a reading.

But if you don't vibe with me,

That's absolutely okay.

I'm totally fine with that.

You know,

And it should kind of be that way in the,

Well it is that way in the world.

You're friends with some people,

You're not friends with other people.

So you choose who you bring into your aura,

Into your world.

You choose.

And that is your life.

That is your spirit.

That is your religion.

That is your God.

I know again,

Really heavy,

But yeah.

So yeah,

I had some time to think about that yesterday because I have an opposing opinion to someone who I really like and it's all okay.

On my end,

I feel like it's okay to have opposing opinions,

You know,

But when it gets nasty,

No,

I can't do that.

Do you know what I'm saying?

So I started to go within when I felt some not so great feelings and I can feel it on the other person's end,

Not so great feelings.

And I thought to myself,

Wow.

And I thought of this,

Tatsvam Asi,

In that I am a reflection of everything I've created in my life.

So I've created that.

I've created those opposing opinions.

Pretty cool.

Pretty cool.

So what we're going to do is we are going to meditate today on this.

Okay.

I what,

What Tatsvam Asi really means,

Absolutely means is I am that.

So basically it's I am that I am everything.

I am,

I am God spirit,

Universe,

Brahman,

Whatever you want to call it,

You know,

It's an extension of us.

So let's get ourselves comfortable and meditate because you guys,

That was pretty deep.

I love it.

I love talking about all this stuff and you know,

I love that.

I love discussing it and having those moments of clarity.

So we have created our life.

You are here with me because you've created it.

Oh my God.

I love that.

Oh,

That's so big.

I love it.

Okay.

Anyway,

Let's get ourselves comfortable.

And today I am sitting cross legged.

I feel like I sit up straighter when I'm cross legged.

So let's sit up.

However you choose,

You can sit with feet flat on the floor.

You can lay down,

Although sometimes you fall asleep,

But you can sit however is comfortable and put your hands on your,

On your thighs or your legs,

Palms up.

Let's do palms up today.

And let's take a nice,

Really deep breath in.

Okay.

Through our nose,

Outer mouth,

Breathe in and release.

Oh,

That felt great.

Right?

Let's do that one more time.

Take a deep breath in through our nose,

Outer mouth and release.

Perfect.

So as we get our mind and our body relaxed,

Getting ready for meditation,

Let's,

Let's think about our,

Our gratefuls today.

What are you grateful for?

What are you absolutely grateful for?

Are you grateful for the weather near you?

I am grateful that I'm going today to get everything I need for the big meal coming.

I love this time of year.

I'm so grateful for this time of year because we've focused for even just a few minutes,

The world,

Or at least the United States focuses on gratitude.

How amazing we focus on gratitude today,

This time of year.

So our mantra for today,

As I said,

Is Tat Svan Asi,

I am that.

So we just want to repeat it over and over again.

If you start having thoughts come in,

That's okay,

Just gently push them aside with your hand virtually in your mind.

Bring yourself back to your breath and the mantra Tat Svan Asi.

I will keep the time for us and let's begin.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Tat Svan Asi.

Remember bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Be aware of the chair you're sitting in.

Let's take a nice long deep,

Deep breath in through your nose and out your mouth.

And release.

Awesome.

Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

That's great.

Awesome.

So thank you so much for taking this journey with me and putting up with all of my craziness every day.

Life is good.

We are a reflection of our world.

Love that.

So thank you so much for joining again.

I love each and every one of you so much.

Thank you for being part of my world and my journey.

So until next time,

Namaste everybody.

Have a beautiful day.
