Stay dear friends.

How are you today?

Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.

And I have so much to talk about today as always.

You know,

I,

As I'm sure everybody else has,

Have been seeing those horrible videos everywhere.

And sadly,

Occasionally I watch them and I'm talking about those videos of the sort of hateful people going after other people.

Men and women,

Obviously,

Right?

But they're spewing these like horrible things to other people.

And I'm just tired of it.

I actually,

I stopped,

You know,

I turned the news on just because I want to hear the sort of headlines,

But I have to stop watching the news because it's so much hate.

I don't even believe in hate.

I believe in fear,

Right?

I believe that fear is worse than hate.

And that's anyway,

That's like a whole other situation,

Right?

But you know,

I thought to myself,

I want to start seeing something positive.

I want to start seeing happy stuff.

So you've all seen the Karen videos.

Now I have friends named Karen and I love them.

They are beautiful,

Beautiful people.

So I'm talking about the Karen type behavior,

Right?

Right.

And again,

Love my Karens.

I really,

Really do.

But unfortunately they've chosen that name to be,

To connotate something not as nice,

Let's just say,

Right?

So here's my thought.

Instead of seeing,

This is what I want to see.

Instead of seeing that Karen behavior,

That horrible,

Those people spewing really nasty things to each other,

Let's start sharing friendly videos and behavior.

It all starts with us.

You know that,

Right?

It all starts with you and me.

It does,

Right?

So the challenge is to retell or capture somebody doing something kind and friendly to somebody else.

And you know what we're going to call this behavior?

Dakota behavior.

Because guess what?

The name Dakota is a Native American name for friendly or ally.

So that's my sort of goal for today.

I want us to share Dakota behavior.

Dakota is a beautiful,

It means something beautiful.

It means friendly.

It means ally because that's what we all should be to each other.

If we're not here to be kind to each other,

What are we here for?

Right?

So that's where my head goes.

I was taking a bath last night and I was thinking about this and I was like,

Why can't we just be friendly to each other?

How hard is it?

It all starts with you and me.

One act of friendship can move mountains.

One act of friendship.

One act of,

Actually the posting of friendly behavior instead of horrible,

Hateful,

Fearful behavior.

So yeah,

That's the challenge for today.

Start posting friendly,

People having friendly conversations and people doing kind things for each other and having compassion for each other.

You know,

Sadly I have some very close friends named Karen and it hurts my heart every time I hear that,

You know,

All of the Karen behavior.

But you know what?

Let's start it.

Let's start this new thing,

This Dakota behavior.

Let's begin.

Let's start sharing those videos with the world.

So we are going to meditate on this.

Yes we are.

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

Let's take a nice deep breath in through our nose and release.

And remember,

We are trying to keep our vibration up in this time of so much negativity and so much fear and so much hate.

Let's keep our own.

We are responsible for our own behavior.

So we need to choose compassion and love and kindness,

Right?

When you walk down the street,

Yes underneath your mask,

Smile at those people.

They can tell when you are smiling.

People can tell.

You can tell you are smiling through your eyes.

So let's pass on that Dakota behavior,

Right?

Being friendly.

Now,

To begin with our meditation,

Let's start our day out right and consider all the amazing things that we have going on in our lives right now.

Right here in Los Angeles there are lots and lots of fires,

Right?

And it's hard to find a positive thing going on,

Right?

Whenever you hear about all that.

But guess what?

You know what I saw yesterday?

A sunset.

That was the most amazingly beautiful sunset.

So out of this negative,

Sad stuff,

Positive things can rise up.

So what are you grateful for today?

What's one thing that you're grateful for that has arisen out of something negative,

Something sad,

Something fearful in your life?

I mean we can always go.

When we talk about gratitude,

We can always go to the place of I love my family and my car.

Let's go a little deeper.

We are sharing this moment with each other right now.

I am so grateful for that.

So grateful for that.

So our mantra for today is Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

And guess what that means?

I am compassion.

I am compassion.

It's time for us all to stand up and be the compassion in this world.

Enough is enough of the fear.

Enough.

Enough.

So we are taking that stand today to be the Karuna.

Be the compassion.

So instead of looking at people that are different than you or mad at you or maybe they don't believe what you believe,

Karuna.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

So if we get lost in the mantra or if you forget it,

It's absolutely okay to come back to your breath because it's all about the act.

The universe knows what your intention is.

I will keep the time.

Let's begin.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Karuna Hum.

Start bringing our awareness back.

Let's take a nice deep breath in.

Breathing in that beautiful Karuna energy.

And release like you're releasing it to the world.

When you're comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

Karuna Hum,

Everybody.

Be the compassion today.

Be the friend.

Be the friendly.

Be the Dakota.

Start sharing those.

As a matter of fact,

You know,

My goal,

I guess you could say for today,

Is I'm going to find two kind,

Compassionate,

Friendly videos and I'm going to share them.

So I challenge you guys for that too.

Two videos.

Two videos that depict the goodness that there is in the world.

So.

Thank you so much for joining.

I love you all so much.

Namaste,

Dear ones.

Have a beautiful day.
