Namaste everybody and welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert.

In this post-holiday time,

I hope everybody feels refreshed and loved.

Today,

I want to talk about abundance in gratitude.

That's what we're going to meditate on today.

We feel gratitude.

There's something that happens and we feel this sort of abundance.

When you feel grateful for your health,

Your life,

Your family,

You feel abundant,

Right?

If that's like what happens.

But during this like sort of post-holiday,

Holiday,

Whichever,

Whenever you're listening to this,

Right,

There's something that happens that brings like a mixture of all of that and joy with us,

Right?

There's something that happens that when we have,

When we fall into that gratitude and we feel the abundance of love,

Right,

There's a joy that happens in that.

So I was thinking,

You know,

And I love talking,

I mean,

I could literally talk about all of the aspects of gratitude like all day long,

Literally,

Because I love how it has so many facets to it and abundance is one of them.

Joy is another.

When we feel grateful,

We feel so much,

So many other things,

Right?

And I was reminded of this last night,

I was watching the news and there was this man who is a restaurateur and obviously things are closed.

Well,

I shouldn't say obviously,

But because I don't know where you're listening from,

But here in Southern California,

Restaurants are closed.

And he was talking about how it's cyclical,

Yeah,

It's cyclical,

Right?

He throughout this pandemic has been making meals,

Creating meals for thousands and thousands,

Like millions actually,

I think he's up to 1.

8 million meals for people that are hungry,

Right?

So there he is in that,

But at the same time,

His restaurant is closed and he's losing money and his workers are out of work.

So what happened?

There is another man that started a GoFundMe page for struggling independent restaurants.

And so because of that,

This man who creates all these meals for people is able to create or is able to still pay his workers.

That's what I mean by this.

Abundance in gratitude.

Can you imagine being this chef,

This man that owns a restaurant,

How he must feel?

On one hand,

You feel so downtrodden,

I guess,

And then on another hand,

You feel so grateful to have people that care.

And I just think that is so amazing.

And it reminds me also of,

I don't go to Starbucks that often,

But I was talking to my friend and she goes to Starbucks a lot and goes through the drive-thru,

Right?

And a lot of times,

She's like,

Most times the person in front pays for the person behind.

Isn't that amazing?

That brings me,

That makes me emotional to think,

Right?

Because just caring.

Abundance in gratitude.

You feel thankful that that person did it,

So you do it again.

Giving receiving.

I love it,

Right?

So today,

Our meditation,

This is what we're going to focus on.

Okay,

So let's get ourselves comfortable because,

Oh my gosh,

I had the best meditation.

I could have sat there for two hours.

I could have sat for two hours in meditation.

It was amazing.

Today,

No,

We're sticking to our,

Because this is designed for people who don't feel like they have the time and are new to meditation.

So that's what we stick to,

Right?

Okay,

So get yourself comfortable.

Oh,

And let your eyes float closed whenever you feel like you're supposed to.

Let's take a deep breath in.

And release it.

Back at it.

We are getting back into our routine.

I hope that you all were able to sit and take some time to sit in meditation over the holidays.

So starting out easily.

What are you grateful for?

What are you grateful for today?

Just try to imagine three things.

Think of three things.

You can go further than that,

But three things in your life that bring you gratitude,

That make you feel gratitude.

It was a tough holiday,

Possibly not seeing everybody that you wanted to see.

However,

There's still love there.

There's still gratitude there,

That they are with us.

So many people have had tough times this year.

But there's always something to be grateful for.

So let's go back to gratitude,

Right?

I'm so grateful for this time with you all.

So grateful that we have this little community.

So our mantra for today is abundance,

Right?

Our mantra for today is abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

One more time,

We'll say it together.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

It's the perfect mantra to sort of sum up the holiday season every year.

So,

If you forget the mantra or if it morphs into something else,

That's absolutely okay.

If you start thinking about other things,

Just gently bring yourself back to your breath.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Abundance in every form flows easily and naturally to me.

Let's take a nice deep breath in and release.

And whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

Great!

Yay!

We did it!

We're getting back into the swing,

Right?

I really appreciate each and every one of you being here today.

Thank you so much for joining me and I wish you a day,

A week,

A year of gratitude,

Of abundance in gratitude.

So thanks for joining.

I love you all.

Namaste.
