This exercise can be done sitting or lying down as you feel more comfortable.

Relax your body,

But stay alert.

And whenever you are ready,

Close your eyes.

Feel your body.

And whenever you are ready,

Close your eyes.

Feel your body.

If you notice any tension anywhere in your body,

Gently instruct this part to relax.

Notice your breathing.

Take two or three deep and slow relaxing breaths.

With each inhalation,

Feel the body expanding and creating space.

And with each exhalation,

Let your body relax even more.

Relax your body.

Continue breathing normally,

But keep connected to your breath.

Try not to change it in any way.

Follow it in your mind's eye.

Feel the air coming in through your nose,

Going through your throat.

Your chest,

Reaching your belly.

Notice small pause taking place before exhaling.

Pay attention with curiosity where these pause take place in your body.

That little pause is full of pause.

That little pause is full of power and it's rooted in the center of your being.

Allow your breath to take you there,

To that powerful and sacred place.

This is your inner refuge.

In this place,

You can withdraw to heal,

To rest,

To consult with your inner wisdom or the divine wisdom.

Here,

Everything is fine.

Feel the protection,

The peaceful energy around you.

Similar to a fatigued muscle that needs rest to recover,

Our spirit and mind also need time to recover after going through difficult circumstances.

You are here to regain strength,

Connect with the warmth and the healing energy of this sacred place.

You can visualize,

Feel or imagine these energy as small particles or sparks of light around you.

They are bright and clear.

Take a deep breath and allow this healing energy to reach every part of your being,

Touching every cell,

Every place where your thoughts and emotions emerge.

Stay connected to this moment and let it rest for a moment.

Stay connected to this moment and to this energy.

Keep permission to this healing energy to act.

You don't have to do anything.

Simply rest.

See yourself shine,

Totally immersed in this healing energy.

Visualize,

Feel or imagine how with this energy,

Tiredness and negativity dissolve.

Rest in this moment.

This is your true home.

Notice your breath.

Take one deep and slow breath and with the exhalation connect with your body.

Notice the space around you,

The air,

The sounds.

Remember that you can access this sacred place and this healing energy whenever you need to.

It is always there,

Available,

Ready for you.

I will end with a phrase by Albert Camus.

In the midst of winter I found there was within me an invincible summer.

Thank you.
