Welcome.

This practice is designed to help bring awareness to the body through scanning the body for sensations.

I'm going to invite you to take a comfortable seated position.

Feel a straight spine.

Feeling relaxed yet energetic.

Go ahead and take a deep breath through your nose and an exhale with an audible sigh through your mouth.

Signaling to the body that it's time to relax.

I'm going to start by noticing your feet and whatever surface they're on.

Really sense into the bottom of your feet.

Notice if there's any temperature feeling.

Possibly if you can feel the weight of your feet on the floor.

Now expand that feeling up over the feet into the lower legs all the way up to the knees.

Really sensing and being aware of that area.

Not judging it if you've had an injury or an issue.

Just being aware of the aliveness in your lower legs.

Softening any areas of tension and then moving to expand that awareness all the way through the entirety of both legs.

Really feeling into them.

Sensing their power.

Maybe offering them gratitude for getting you around every day.

Shift that awareness up now through into the torso.

Circling all of your major vital organs that keep you alive.

They're working hard in the background.

Sensing the aliveness there.

And also feeling an immense gratitude for their efforts.

Now expand that awareness from your trunk down into your arms and hands.

Feeling every single finger and thumb.

Being aware of the blood coursing through your veins.

Maybe feeling a vibration or movement as you send gratitude to your hands for the work they do.

The meals they prepare.

The hugs they give.

Really feeling thankful for the hands and arms.

The multitude of daily tasks they complete for you.

Expand your awareness now to the shoulders,

Your neck.

Just feeling a sensation of relaxation.

Softening.

Come over both areas.

Not losing any temperature changes.

As you expand your awareness up into your head and your brain or your central processing system.

Your command center.

Just feeling a sensation of softening coming across your face,

Your jaw,

The space between your brows.

Just relaxing a little bit.

And resting in this full body awareness.

Again expressing that gratitude for this body.

No judgment.

Just pure thanks.

Thank you body.

Thank you body.

Just breathing into this sense of aliveness.

Breathing in fresh oxygen for new energy.

Being alive and ready to tackle whatever comes next.

Thank you for sharing your practice with me today.

Lovely. Soft, gentle and relaxing. It gets quiet towards the so you could either bring yourself back to presence or drift off to sleep.
