In this meditation Dayanand Das guides us softly to enter our sacred heart space. During the practice there is a time to be guided to enter deeper and deeper as we use the breath to enter the depth of our heart space. It also allows us the time and space to be in silance and expand in our own heart.

Transcript

Let us become aware of the breath.

Let us take a few gentle breaths.

And with the breath being aware of the room around us.

With the breath being aware of the physical body.

Allowing the eyes to close.

As we close our eyes,

Bringing awareness in the body.

With the breath.

Becoming aware of our posture.

Allowing the top of the head to be pulled up to the sky.

Allowing the rest of the body to sink down to the pillow.

Or the chair.

Like a mountain.

As the top of the head is being pulled up,

The body can relax down to the earth.

To the pillow.

Allowing the shoulder to fall.

Allowing the stomach to relax.

Allowing yourself to sink into the chair.

Sitting like a mountain,

The top of the head is being pulled up to the heaven.

And breath.

Breathing consciously,

Meaning becoming aware of every inhale.

And exhale.

Bringing all of our awareness to the breath.

And this moment right now,

This present moment with the breath.

The sensation of the breath as the air comes in through the nose.

As the air goes out through the nose.

The awareness,

The breath in this present moment.

And if there is some tension in the body,

It's ok.

At this moment,

Allowing it to be.

And breathing again,

Again and again bringing the awareness to the breath.

And with this breath,

The awareness to this point within the center of your chest.

The point of the heart.

With the breath,

Yes,

Bringing the awareness to the point in the center of the chest.

The heart,

The energy of the heart,

The quality of the heart.

And the center of our chest as if we're going deeper to a point of light within the heart.

Yes,

I offer myself to my own heart.

I cherish the most beloved heart of mine.

The sweetness of my heart,

Yes.

I cherish the heart within.

The energy of my heart,

The quality of my heart,

Even the pittings of my physical heart.

The mind hears the heart.

With the breath,

If the mind thinks it's ok,

Thought may come,

Thought may go.

Witness the thoughts,

Meaning look at them,

Allow them to be.

With no judgement,

Good thought,

Bad thought,

It is a thought.

Allowing it to continue and if we found ourselves inside a thought,

Simply release,

Allow it to be.

And returning to this moment right now through the breath,

Bringing our awareness with the breath together.

And being in the center of the heart.

Diving even deeper in the heart.

You may imagine a point of light like a candle flame,

A flame of light in the center of your chest,

That point of the heart.

Imagine yourself looking into it,

Breathing into it,

Diving into it,

To the center and the center within.

You may look into to the center of your chest bull,

Going to the center of the heart.

And it is done.

Each breath,

Inhale and exhale.

I'm listening to my heart.

Yes,

Another breath,

Relaxing into the heart.

Yes,

Relaxing,

Allowing that sweetness of the heart to take over once again.

My beloved heart,

My precious heart,

My dear precious heart,

I am in my heart.

Breathing as the heart,

The abode of love,

The presence of this moment right now.

And when the thought is coming,

It is ok,

The mind is thinking.

I'm bringing back my awareness to the breath,

Focusing the heart.

The peace in my heart.

And a few more gentle breaths.

The fullness of the breath,

The sensation of the air coming in and out.

This present moment,

The expression of the physical body,

The posture.

With a deep breath,

Breathing within ourself,

I am peace in the heart.

I am kindness of the heart.

I am peace of my own heart.

And another breath,

Allow that intention to expand.

With a deep breath,

Becoming aware of the room,

Of this breath of this magical moment right now.

Breathing with a listening of the heart,

With awareness of the breath.

And gently,

Gently allow the eyes to open again.

And taking a moment with this breath to offer gratitude to the body,

To the heart,

To the presence of this breath for every moment in life.
