Alright guys,

So we're going to hop into some mindset.

We're going to go internal because strategy is literally only 20% of the game.

The other 80% is mindset.

So there's no shortage of information out there.

There's no shortage of tips and tricks and people out there telling us what to do and books.

I mean you can go to any library.

I had a mentor once that said,

If information was the key to success,

Then every librarian in the country would be the most successful people.

And it's very true.

And so,

When we talk about creating the life and the business that we want,

That's really the key word here is it is a creative act.

And as entrepreneurs,

We're creative people.

And so what's really cool about this is we get to create the life and the business that we want.

We get to create the clients that we want.

We get to create,

In essence,

Whatever we want.

So when you come to it from that creative standpoint,

To me that's really powerful.

The power of the mind is it's almost,

You know,

It's hard to conceive.

So,

As I talked about,

You know,

In many different videos is that everything starts with the mind.

Everything starts with thoughts.

So,

Thoughts lead to actions lead to results.

Yet,

The first thing that we over,

That we look past,

And don't even really,

You know,

For lack of a better word think about is our thoughts.

So what's a really important part of this process that you're going through here in this program is to re-engineer your thinking.

And not just change your thinking,

But change the way that you look at your thinking.

So that's a really important point is taking time to not just think,

Because that's a really important thing for CEOs to do is to stop,

Take time to think.

Think about what you're going to strategically do.

Think about what you need to do for yourself.

You know,

The work life situation.

But throughout the day,

Also taking strategic time to think about how you think or notice what you notice.

So,

It's really kind of,

It might be a new thing that you're not used to.

And what really helps with this is meditation.

And,

You know,

You're going to,

You'll see there's another audio for that,

Where I'll guide you through a little bit of a short meditation.

But beyond,

You know,

Beyond meditation,

I want you to just think about this whole thing as a creative act.

And so the first thing that you can think about,

Something that's really common that you hear a lot about these days is gratitude.

Being grateful for what you have.

That puts you into a creative space.

That puts you into a more resourceful space.

Because just by being grateful and having gratitude,

Then you start to,

Basically that's just noticing the resources around you.

You know,

I'm grateful for this clean air.

I'm grateful for this clean water.

I'm grateful for this technology that allows me to record this audio.

You know,

All these different things.

I'm grateful for my health,

My family,

My friends,

My income.

Grateful for food.

You know,

All these things,

Whatever.

You can make a list.

Go to town.

I highly recommend that.

Gratitude practice is super,

Super important.

Keeping a journal on it is awesome.

And what that does is it shifts your mind.

It shifts your mind towards resources.

What actually,

The things that we actually have already.

All these things at our disposal.

And it's kind of amazing.

It's like a miracle when you think about it.

How many things and how many resources we have supporting our life on a daily,

Moment-to-moment basis.

You know,

Even the fact that we're breathing right now is a miracle.

Right?

So that's the opposite of scarcity.

So that's really more of an abundant mindset,

A more resourceful mindset.

Whereas scarcity is focusing the mind on what you don't have.

And looking at what other people have.

Being jealous.

Coveting what others have.

And allowing yourself to be unhappy based on what other people have that you don't.

So you can actually just feel the energy of that in your body.

And it's a tenseness.

It's a tightness.

It leads to stress.

It leads to physical problems,

Which stress leads to disease.

And you know,

Overall it's just not a good situation.

And when you focus your mind on what you don't have,

The things that there's a shortage of,

Scarcity of,

Then of course,

You know,

As we talked about,

Thoughts lead to actions which lead to results.

So when you think scarcity,

When you think about what you don't have,

You're going to take actions that are based on that.

Which might be,

You know,

Saying yes to the wrong client.

Choosing to work with people that you're not in alignment with.

Making business decisions that you know are not right,

But you're doing it because it's going to make you a quick buck.

That kind of thing.

Choosing to work way too many hours,

Way more hours than you want to.

Or choosing to work on things,

On tasks that you don't like doing,

That you really shouldn't be doing.

Period.

Right?

That's that scarcity mentality.

So thoughts lead to actions,

Which of course,

Lead to results.

And so the way that we can shift that,

You know,

That scarcity cycle,

That we can shift into a more resourceful cycle,

Is through gratitude.

That's the very first step.

Gratitude leads to creativity,

Which leads us to take actions that are based on resources.

Seeing all the things that we have.

Now that's just the first,

That's just kind of foundational.

And what,

You know,

I had a friend tell me this recently,

This next step that I'm going to tell you,

That it's a higher level practice.

But actually,

To me it's not.

It's just different.

And so I want to share this with you,

Which is not something that's very commonly shared,

Which is being grateful for your future.

So envisioning where you're going,

You know,

The results that you're creating.

What is your business looking like,

You know,

A year from now or even a month from now?

What does your life look like?

And really stepping into that and being grateful for it.

So here's what's interesting is your brain,

Your mind,

Your conscious mind and your subconscious mind kind of go back and forth.

And when you're grateful for what your life is in the future,

You can really just like taste it,

Touch it,

Feel it.

You can put yourself in that position.

Your subconscious mind doesn't really know the difference.

It doesn't really differentiate between past,

Present and future.

That's just something that's more of a kind of a conscious mind thing.

Those are concepts that we kind of place on reality that aren't necessarily the way things are,

Right?

So the way things are,

I mean,

Ultimately it's timeless.

There's really no such thing as time when you really dissect it and get down to it.

Now,

We're not going to go down that rabbit hole,

But let's just stay with,

You know,

This clarity of purpose,

Clarity of vision and just really,

You know,

Crystal clarity on where it is that you're going,

What it is that you're creating in your life and your business and just step into that.

So I'm going to allow you the time right now.

Take the time to feel that.

What does it look like?

What does it feel like?

And I'll put a link below for this activity that's called my ideal perfect day.

And so you don't need to worry about remembering it right now,

But I'm going to walk you through it a little bit.

I want you to think about your perfect day.

What would it look like?

What would it feel like?

Now,

There's one caveat.

This perfect day is something that you're going to do over and over again every day.

OK,

So instead of doing something different every day,

Like,

You know,

One day I fly to Fiji,

One day I fly to Africa,

One day I fly to China,

Blah,

Blah,

Blah.

Actually,

It's just something that's repetitive over and over again.

So I want you to get into the space of being content and having gratitude for that kind of daily repetition,

Like the things that you're doing every day,

And you just love it,

OK?

So that's kind of the foundational,

That's the caveat.

OK,

So you're doing kind of the same things every day,

Roughly.

And what does that look like,

Your ideal,

Your perfect day?

What does it look like?

So from the time that you wake up in the morning,

You wake up,

What's the very first thing that you do?

Who are you with?

What do you do after you wake up?

What do you have for breakfast?

What do you do for yourself,

Self-care?

Do you have a daily ritual?

Who do you eat breakfast with?

What do you do after breakfast?

What are you working on when you get to work,

Or maybe you work from home?

What are the things that light you up that you're working on?

Who are you working on them with in your ideal perfect situation,

Your ideal perfect day?

What are the things that you are doing,

The things that feed you,

That light you up?

And what are the things that other people are doing on your team that lights them up?

What do you eat for lunch?

Who do you eat lunch with?

How do you spend your afternoon?

Do you get outside?

Do you do other things that you love?

And who are you doing those things with?

What do you have for dinner,

And who do you have dinner with?

How are you feeling throughout this whole process,

Right?

So throughout the morning,

Throughout the afternoon,

The evening.

What does that feel like?

What does it look like?

And then finally,

Kind of nighttime situation.

What are you doing at night?

Who are you doing that with?

And then before you go to sleep,

Is there a certain ritual that you might have?

Reading,

Reflection,

Contemplation,

All of these things.

You know,

I want you to really just open it up and allow yourself to feel that.

Allow yourself to step into it,

And allow yourself to be grateful for it.

Okay,

So you have your ideal perfect day.

And you also have your business vision.

The business goals that you're going to achieve.

You have your kind of day-to-day time slot,

Like how much time and energy you're putting into things.

How much time you get to spend with your family,

Your friends.

Time off,

All of those things.

So feel it all now together.

What does it all feel like?

How is it all coming together?

You know,

How is it interrelating with your purpose,

Your mission,

What you're meant to do on this planet?

And really step into that.

That future you.

Step into it now.

And be grateful for it.

So what can you be grateful for?

And I encourage you to do this on a daily basis.

Okay,

You can do this,

You know,

Really structured.

Like you can do it if you're sitting,

Like as a meditation.

You can do it in the shower,

Which is a great place.

You can do it in your bed when you first wake up in the morning.

Like,

Oh,

I'm so grateful.

Another day,

You know.

Another day to do what I love.

And I'm so grateful to be stepping towards,

You know,

Doing constantly what I love.

That's going to be leading to more and more of what I love.

Helping more and more people,

Etc.

So just let it expand.

Outward.

This is the mindset that we had as kids.

This is how we used to think.

Anything was possible.

Right?

And then we allowed all these different stressors and things to kind of shut that down.

But when we're in our zone of genius,

When we're really doing what we love,

And we're in creation mode,

This is how we feel.

We're like a channel.

Really,

We're just open.

And we're in that flow.

I'll talk more about flow state later.

But basically,

It's a state of energized focus,

Where you love what you're doing,

And you just want to keep doing it.

And gratitude allows us to step into that space.

So I'm going to leave you with that.

Remember to practice gratitude for the present,

And also gratitude for the future.

What you're creating,

And where you will be.
