Mindfulness practices designed to enrich your life.
This is the Being Present practice with David Mercado.
Day 21.
Be grateful for life.
Have you lately looked at the smile of a child or listened to the sound of it?
It is the most heart-opening experience.
It touches the core of your inner child.
Start laughing and remember your own childhood memories.
You will feel energized for the rest of the day.
M Diamond.
We have reached the end of this cycle of our mindfulness practice.
The idea behind doing the daily exercises is that this practice could become a habit.
If you have felt good during one exercise at least,
Well done.
Imagine waking up,
Going through your day and before going to sleep feeling appreciation for all the good things.
This could improve your life and will transform your reality into what we really like to achieve.
So it is time to wake up and be conscious about our feelings and behaviors.
Being present help us to realize that everything around us is created by our thoughts and if we would like to change any habits in our way of life you can do so.
We have the power to detach ourselves from our daily self,
Connect to who we really are and then be able to decide what is genuinely for us.
If we believe we are victims then we are.
If we think we have the power of change and creating a new life for us we definitely can.
The challenge is to be aware and learn truly who we really are,
What we like and act upon it instead of adopting external expectations from the media,
People around us or organizations that are seeking to manipulate the way we think.
In life we don't win or lose,
Nor fail or triumph.
In life we learn,
We grow,
We write,
Delete and rewrite again.
The day I understood that the only thing I will take when I die is what I lived,
I start living what I want to take.
We are free to decide what is best for us.
If we commit to the habit of being present and in this way we align our minds and hearts we will be able to reach our full potential.
I hope you have enjoyed our practice.
You can go back to any day you would like to revisit and if you like to join us for the next cycle you are most welcome.
Practice 21,
Being grateful.
Number one,
Look at your list of things you appreciate.
Choose the most important for you at this time.
Write a reason why you're grateful.
Put one or both hands in your heart breathing deeply and after you read each item say thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you with immense emotion.
Number two,
Remember the power of the heart.
The more you feel gratitude the more results you will receive.
Number three,
Every second of the day is a new opportunity to start again.
Life is change therefore embracing change is embracing life.
Be well,
Be safe and be grateful.
